In all seriousness I wondered this myself so just decided to get a £50 seat for Manchester and £50 GA ticket for Scotland, not gonna pay an extra £15 for the same thing lol
The stadiums pay the band different amounts hence the difference in prices.

I'm with Seb on this one, I will wait for prices to go down or scalpers. If that fails, oh well, then it's my loss. I'm definately not paying the prices Jovi is charging.

At O2, Jon blamed the promotor, what's your excuse this time, greedy Jonny boy?
Totally agree!

Wembley 2000 I was in the fanclub, yet still made sure I was queuing nice and early. On the first day of the two, no-one had been made aware of the fanclub situation regarding pit/wristbands. We eventually got our wristbands, but the pit was full by the time we got down there.
2nd day we obviously knew the situation, but still got there mega early. Managed to get front row and it felt like an achievement.

Milton Keynes 2001 - queued from 8.30am, all went well.... had decent enough spot in the circle.

Shepherds Bush 2002 we queued from 4.15 in the MORNING!!!
We were 13 & 14 in the queue, but by the time the doors opened it was chaos - and also the "groupies" who strolled past, off their heads, and were front & centre. We ended up quite a way off the front - achievement non-existent.

That was the moment we decided it was no longer worth going early.

Milton Keynes 2006 (?) - £95 per Golden Circle ticket and ended up looking at feet underneath the bridge that joined the stage to the walkway. Walked out of the gig after 45 mins.

O2 - had to pay £400 for a pair of tickets on the front row OUTSIDE the pit!

Twice we also paid for premium Gold SEATS and ended up with horrendous views, including being almost behind the stage, so we could only see Jon & Richie on the stage!

Money has definitely become the theme for the band.
Shame really, because if they spent more time thinking up new lyrics instead of figuring out how to make more cash by regurgitating the same one's time after time, maybe I'd be more motivated.

Also, I'd imagine the "teenage girls" from back when that quote was made, probably don't pay to get in at all anymore........

I know someone who would love to see them but can't afford to. I won't be going to any of their concerts next year either. Saving my money for more important things in life

And what about Dublin? Do you think Golden circle tickets can be about 100 euros? I´m thinking about GC ticket for one night and normal standing ticket for 2nd night.
