Aloha !
With prices like these they think they're making it hard on the scalpers yet they seem to forget that people aren't willing to pay these prices at all. The concert market collapsed this year in America and Bon Jovi were selling tickets for 12.50 in Chicago. The same will happen in Europe now, the O2 being the perfect example for that. In order to not having the huge gaps on the field they upgraded pretty much everyone who was interested.
I'll have a blast buying tickets this tour, as I'll probably spend an average of 70E on a ticket from a scalper or on eBay. I did this in 2008 1 time only I regretted ever since that I didn't do it more often. They're ruining their own market, and if I start to think this way surely more people will think this way, resulting in less interest from people at the start of the presale, hence them not getting the money they want and having to lower their prices.
Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
