Default Tickets on ebay

Just went on sale this morning for 2nd Mohegan Sun show through Ticketbastard. As if the $150 - $500 per ticket face value wasn't bad enough, there are already 50 auctions up on ebay with prices ranging anywhere from $600 to $4,000 per ticket.

That's legal, yet if I stand outside and sell an extra ticket for the same price I paid for it, I could be arrested. Makes sense.

Scalping is legal in New York State, was made legal few years ago and there was no limit placed what price you can sell.
Not sure if it is legal in other states

This is why noone should complain about what the band charges us for tix. Bargain compared to what scalpers charge.

That makes absolutely no sense.

Scalpers charge so much because the band charges so much.

I know a lot of people have an issue with scalpers, but they are just doing what a lot of other people do - buying something, then selling it for a profit. Big deal.
