Thinking of joining the FC just because of the presale tomorrow... is it worth it?

I presume the £280 Diamond Circle ticket gets you what they were offering for the Rio show

Looking at Ticketmaster, it has General Tickets on sale Monday the 1st, but also has Friday the 29th as a date for Past Bookers? Anyone know what this is?

Unless you want to get the vip packages aka diamond circle or whatever they are called, yes. If you don't want to spend that money then I'd not.

I was very close to renew my membership but after seeing these prices I decided not to.

50 pounds general admin for Edinburgh in 2011 isn't really that bad compared with the Australian and o2 prices.
