Default To the Greek fans. Also about Richie not doing well..

Hi all.Greetings to Greece.I just have to speak english so everyone else can understand.I am from Greece.I was wondering too why Bon Jovi don't come to Greece.
Well this year as everyone can tell and especially in Europe they choose only cities than can for sure do sold out shows. And the reason is their big production that costs lots of money. You know expensive sound systems and screens, bla bla bla...all those this costs a lot to carry around and you can loose lots of money doing a show in a half-full stadium.Believe it or not this is true.
Take for example Rolling Stones. They are coming to Greece in June.Have you heard the ticket prices? Around 70-85 Euros.Whos gonna pay that? Life is getting expensive nowadays.I know this from first hand and it prevented other great bands from coming to Greece. I already have 2 Munich tickets for May 28 and payed them 70 Euros (for a show that is always sold out,so imagine the price for Greece hypothetically).
I'll be glad to contact me for anything.Enoite sta ellinika (nightseeker78@yahoo.gr)
As for Richie 'not into it' that i read on some post here let me tell you this: if anything happens and Bon Jovi splits up i am definately gonna be with Richie's side cause i like him more than Jon.The name Jon sometimes, and i mean sometimes, sounds like 'too much ego' if you know what i mean.
As for the solos that in the last couple of albums don't exist anymore this is something that the industries arrange. If you look at Metallica's movie (the documentary i mean) Kirk complains that he don't want to play the usual solos and wants to do something more. There follows a discussion with Bob Rock and basically the point is that this is not in line with music nowadays. And it can be true when you have a song with a good riff and good lyrics. The guitar solo doesn't improve the song's image.
Anyway sorry for saying too much.My girl is gone for the weekend and kinda bored.
By the way Richie is gonna be ok.He is human and mortal after all and deserves to have his downs sometimes.Peace, sex and Bon Jovi!!

i'll pay for the stones. i've seen them once in athens and i don't care paying 80 euros to see them again.
and don't compare bon jovi to the stones. the stones can sell out two big stadiums in greece imo. bon jovi will gather 20.000 people maximum.

but you're lucky you bought the tickets for munich. i don't think i can make it to some european concert due to uni exams.

People here would yell hooray if they only payed 85 EUR for the Stones. Tickets here cost up to more than 200 EUR. So you see that the Stones are overpriced everywhere compared to prices of other artists in the country. The cheapest ticket in the city near me would cost 87 EUR. These are the nosebleed seats of course where you don't see anything.

A field ticket for Munich for that you payed less than 70 EUR to see Bon Jovi (which still is the 2nd most expensive BJ concert in Germany), costs 102 EUR for the Stones. In other cities the field tickets for the Stones cost even more. And these are just the prices for regular standing. The Stones have Golden Circle tickets where I don't know the price of. They are probably the highest price category.

The Stones are way to expensive for me. No, thank you. After all I am not really into their music. Come to think about it I don't think I would pay 100 Euros or something for any band at all.

The only way for Bon Jovi to do a gig in Greece would be to agree to play at Terra Vibe. Only then the cost for the promoter would be logical and there's only one promoter who can book a show at Terra Vibe for free. Terra Vibe holds 25.000 people and maybe next year some more if they manage to get the nearby property as well. But I don't see Bon Jovi playing to a 25.000 venue in Europe...
