Default Too many covers?

Am I just alone with this argument or are there someone else with me; Bon Jovi plays far too many covers on their gig. Jovi got about 100 great songs and while acting live they perform like 20 to 30 songs and sometimes even 4 of them are covers...! I get that feeling like they wouldn't have enough material of their own cause they have to play others' hits. I think it's frustrating when you wanna hear song like from These Days, they decided to play Fogerty or Petty or something else.... Come on... two and a half hour gig and half our goes with some Fogertys' ride...!?

Rockin' All Over The World is a great track for getting the crowd going as is Shout and so on and so on, its not as if they play boring covers that aint worth playing, at least they play crowd pleasers, but yes at the same time i'd love to hear TD or DC and those sort of rare tracks

I think they should bring Rockin' In The Free World back and get rid of Shout.

i wish they would get rid of shout too, flippin annoys me when shout gets a better reception from the crowd of casual fans than any of their own material does (with the exception of prayer maybe)

Totally agree about Shout! I shudder when they start it, pray its a teaser and they wont go all the way...sometimes they do, sometimes they dont... LOL I usually find myself enjoying it when its started though, you cant help yourself. Rockin in the Free World would be sooo much better!

I kinda like them doing Shout! But I agree about Rockin In The Free World. That would be a better option. Saying that, I loved them doing Thin Lizzy's 'The Boys Are Back In Town' last night. It was damn good. And Shout! was a teaser last night, too.

I don't mind the covers at all. I think that BJ put their own stamp on the covers that they do. I am really hoping to hear BM w/Gloria this summer.

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I don't mind the covers unless they do them ALL the time, like Shout. I'm glad it hasn't been appearing as much this tour. They usually do excellent versions of the covers they do. I'd love to hear With a Little Help from My Friends or You Belong to Me again.
