I guess that's true. I shouldn't be crabby about having These Days, Last Man Standing, and Radio Saved My Life on acoustic guitar, because I don't plan on going all the way to a different continent to see Bon Jovi. So as a result, I'll never hear those songs! YAY! ahhh.

Try to have fun in Foxboro. I hope that you don't get vanilla there. Expect it, but don't hope for it. Gosh, all this talk of vanilla makes me want some ice cream...

In terms of sound, though, it doesn't really add much. You can hear it if you REALLY try to hear it, but sometimes it's just not necessary. One thing I am surprised about on this tour is that he isn't using an acoustic guitar for 'Work For The Working Man'.
I'm not saying that his guitar isn't needed. I think it looks cool watching Jon and Richie playing that lick back to back on Wanted. There's lots of songs that need that guitar. And I was surprised to about the Work For The Working Man Thing too.

The dude should use more electric and Rock out more, ala Thorn, but oh well.....

Radio and LMS aren't pipe dreams here in the U.S. Radio has only had one outing here on this tour, but we got it every now and then on the LH tour. And LMS has been done several times. There's at least hopefor those, and I like both of them a lot.

As long as we get good vanilla. I do just fine with it when I'm AT a show. I just have problems when I think about it in advance. Or in other words, obsess.

I cant stand that acoustic guitar. I wish he'd burn it and play a decent guitar.

I like the electric guitar, it works on songs like Sleep and Thorn. It was cool to see Jon play guitar on Bad Name in Honolulu.

As for the acoustic, much less would be nice. However he doesn't move as much as he used to so it doesn't make a huge difference.

IŽd say Jon playing guitar doesnŽt necessarily cut down the energy level on stage.

On the KTF tour, they used to open the show with I Believe and Jon played a Les Paul on it. Witnessing the hyper-energetic performance of that song in all its glory in front of my eyes, I remember thinking, maybe the whole stage will eventually explode. That band was on fire.

Couldn't care less. He can play guitar as much as he wants as long as it actually contributes something which, to be fair he has done a fair few times recently on Thorn, Runaway, Wanted even Superman Tonight (his guitar can usually be heard clearly and adds to the overall effect).

No no no. In my eyes, the acoustic guitar cuts down the energy level (on some songs). When Jon plays electric guitar seems very energetic.
