Keep in mind the cheapest Bon Jovi ticket is $12 in the rafters behind the stage. That cheap ticket brings the average ticket price way down. $96.53 average is astronomical.

If I remember right, the last year Bon Jovi tour ticket price average was $98 or $99 dollars. I'll try and find that article with the stats.

I'm surprised BJ didn't make the list.

But they did less than ten shows in 2015 -- and between losing the Chinese gigs and the two that were cancelled due to the typhoon, they're lucky if they broke even.

If you had looked at the list before posting, you'd never have found that poor excuse: Grateful Dead made the list with only 5 shows, Pearl Jam with only 9, the Rolling Stones are #10 with only 14 shows and many other artists have done only 20-30 shows.

My post also supplied reasons why there was no reason to believe the tour either grossed highly or made an appreciable profit.

I disagree. On the contrary, I think there are at least 3 good reasons to think so:
- Azoff
- a "new" market (fans waited 20-30 years to see BJ again = high demand. Didn't the media mention soldout shows?) + they toured with a reduced crew & stage (= less money spent)
- BJ are always #1 or 2 on such lists (History repeats itself)
