Default Tour 2008...

ok, ok, so rumour is there will be a tour next year at some point...

heres the question: do you have a tour fund?

I have to say, yes I have started saving and currently have a good figure at the moment which will mean either more shows for me or to go further a field!

Not a tour fund as of yet - need to finish my course and start earning first.

BUT..... my fiance and I were setting a date for our wedding next year and it was originally gonna be 12 June as it's a recognised date in our personal calendar but when word of the tour started to spread, I had the date shifted to 12 July just so there's no chance I miss any shows as a result of us being on our honeymoon!!!

Too much money to spend next summer!

Woah, hang on a minute! You've got me thinking!

I'm worried that the tour will clash with MY wedding......12th July next year!!!!

How are you sure that you won't miss any shows? What do you know that I don't?

Fortunately, my wedding's November this year (eek, 11 weeks!!!) so hopefully I'll at least have a few months for the bank balance to grow fat and me and my hun can go on tour as Mr & Mrs Crashed.

Do I have a tour fund as yet, uhm, NO, as paying for a wedding in Sri-Lanka and a honeymoon in the Maldives literally melted my bank card last week.

Still, I'm hoping for a few shows including a nice European trip to Amsterdam I hope

Nope - I'll just buy tickets when they go on sale. I can't see myself going to more than 2 shows and they'll be driving distance from me so I'll only need ticket money and that won't require a seperate fund, unless ticket prices go up lots!

Only about £400 odd so far, but that should do me realistically for about 7 tickets roughly, so should pay for my tickets to each UK show. Hopefully!

They're typically over in the UK in June for tours so that's what I based the reschedule on. I reckon 12 July will be safe.... famous last words!!

My sister's friend is a member of a club connected to the Rose Bowl in Southampton. Apparently the word is that venue will be used by Jovi for the upcoming tour. Other than that, I've heard little.
The stadium itself is terrible for concerts in my opinion. I saw Oasis there a couple of years ago and being so huge/open, the sound simply filtered away. I'm holding out for Wembley myself.
