Default Tour Books?

I just had a couple questions about the tour programs they are seeling at the shows. I just wanted to know a couple of things because the merchandise booths are almost always really crowded and I just kind of wanted to know if I should get the tour program or not because its not like a book store where you have all the time in the world to flip through a book to see if you want it lol! Anyway how thick is the tour book because I know that I have bought some for other bands that are pretty thin. Also is it pretty much just a book full of pictures or does it have some other stuff in there too?

Thanks A Lot!

It is your standard size program. There's fourteen pages to turn (there is a pic or design on each side). Basically your paying for pictures that are the same or similar to the ones on the Bounce CD. Every few pages there is one line from a song printed somewhere on a page (ex. of I'll never give up the fight, I'll go the distance). There are seven short quotes made by various band members printed on select pages also. As I wasn't interested in any of the shirts or such, I bought the program as a souvenir.

yeh a tour program is always something nice to keep as a momento of the tour/gig you went to. Ill defo be getting one!

Beware for the unofficial ones though too. Sometimes howveer they can be just as good...cheaper too if you havent got much money to spend. The official ones are sold inside the venue and unofficial ones outside by touts.

That's not necessarly true. Here in Germany there are also people running around outside the venue selling official tour programs.

I even haven't seen any un-official ones here in Germany yet. Maybe these only exist in England.

i've seen bootleg progs all the time - have that one from 1996 too...

i hate those rip-off merchants

having said that anyone who's spent £20+ on a tour shirt will probably know they are not much better quality than the bootleg ones outside

Yea, I recently had a friend come down to Myrtle Beach who lives up in New Jersey and he brought me a program from the Atlantic City show... I can tell you... It is just a big picture book of them... There are some quotes about the album and random things about lyrics and things. It is really really nice! I suggest getting one..

BOUNCE,
Ryan

£10-12 un UK for about 20 pages of pictures that are in the singles anyway - maybe with some lyrics thrown in

The hard part is getting the programme home unscathed through a 2.5 hour gig!!
