1. Rolling Stones $150.6m
2. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill $132m
3. Rascal Flatts $110.5m
4. Madonna $96.8m
5. Barbara Streisand $95.8m
6. Kenny Chesney $90.1m
7. Celine Dion $85.2m
8. Bon Jovi $77.5m
9. Nickelback $74.1m
10. Dave Matthews Band $60.4m

That's not actually just tour earnings but total earnings for 2006 taken from Forbes magazine.

Gives you an idea that Jovi are nowhere in the same earning league as the Stones, but the Stones do an endless tour and charge at least double what BJ charge.

From what I recall, in total Bon Jovi was the third highest ranked tour behind the Stones and Madonna (way behind the Stones, slightly behind Madonna - although both charge substantially more than BJ). U2 was 5th or 6th I believe.

I don't remember the figures, but they were 3rd internationally. The list above is US (or North American?) figures only.

Yes, just realize these are GROSS numbers not the cash that each band member put in his pocket, lol! There are a ton of costs involved with putting on a tour that size and lots of folks that get a piece of the pie. I'm sure they still did well but it's not to the magnitude of the gross numbers.

When you see these grosses, it should be evident that the $110 million that Bon Jovi made on the HAND tour, while impressive, is by no means anywhere near the top ten grossing tours of all time.

No one can say this until he watched the books. From the money they get for the shows they have to pay loads of stuff. No one can know how much they really earn with touring.
