A bit off topic, but seems like the right place to mention that Forbes listed their top celebs for 2013. Oprah regained #1 - but in #7 - Bon Jovi - the pic showed the band vs just Jon and Richie was in the pic they used. Someone spent somewhere to have them this high on the list.

They have been on the Forbes list for a few years now. Their ranking gets very high when they tour, and understandably so. Bon Jovi is among an elite category of musicians. They have earned their spot.

Bon Jovi’s Because We Can trek took home the Top Tour Award, which acknowledges the top grossing tour. The New Jersey rock band also took home the Top Draw Award, which recognizes the top ticket selling tour. ........

congrats to the guys and jon especially for one more achievement, bon jovi could only lose by the stones,u2 and probably madonna, noone else. it leaves a bittersweet taste though cause this tour was a missed opportunity for them and left many wounds open for the band.

I'm proud of the guys, and people will bash it to death but honestly I don't care. They had a crap year and did this. Has it been perfect? Of course its not, nothing is these days.

I'm glad for the ones that stuck in it, the likes of Tico who stuck through it all with two surgeries, it's some validation for them.

Looking forward to them coming down to Oz to end it on a high.

Then they can sort the rest out. I honestly don't care about any of it anymore, I just want to see them play and have a good time.

This tour definitely has been a low point for the band and the fans, but at least it proves that they can still shift a decent amount of tickets and are still a draw.

Although it is a cavaet that a lot of tickets were sold when buyers thought Richie was still in the band, so the real acid test will be the next tour if Richie is still absent. Still it's good that they can still put in some solid numbers.
