Well, a lot has changed between my first and my last BJ-concert.
First concert I went with my parents only a few hours before the concert started ... Last concert I went to London on my own, met up with people from here and slept outside to get in the front hehe.

In 2000 I went with parents, 2003 I went with 2 friends from school who like the BJmusic but weren't really fans.
In 2005 (Amsterdam) I went with Lies, a Belgian BJ-friend of me and we went to other concerts as well (we kinda have the same taste).
But the HANDconcerts I all went with people I know from here and it was the best!
I consider these people friends now (you know who you are) and I hope we continue going to concerts together!!

Now that I think about it, time for a reunion

I wish I had friends who would go to lots of shows with me. I don't really know anyone who's as big of a fan as I am - most people think I'm crazy for having seen this band so many times already and still wanting to.
You should meet up with us - you live close.

I have always gone with my family to shows. It's usually with my son who introduced me to the band and my daughter - who was too young at the beginning to have a choice LOL.

This past summer tour Kev and Thierry and Becky were here and I loved having other fans to to go to shows with. Most of my own friends think I'm nuts.

Well, in my first few years of touring, I just went with Paul and Kev Bee. This past tour, I have been to BJ shows with Carli, Yvonne, Lee, Vallie, Jana, Kathleen, and Thierry. I have of course met up with others who were at the same gig, but these are just the folk who I have spent time with during the performances.

I am pretty confident, that it will be roughly the same on the next tour as well. I couldnt imagine going to a show with Paul AND Carli.

Mine do too. It amazes them that there are actually other people out there like me. And then I tell them about people like Kev who cross continents to see them!

Hehe, I am a bit nuts I have to agree. Was that a once in a lifetime thing though? I highly doubt it...

I just tell them so I can say, "Remember that guy Kev I told you about? Well, I'm going to see him this tour" for when I FINALLY get to Europe for a show! LOL I'm setting it up so my own insanity won't come as a complete surprise to them. Reciprocity!

I go to every show with my best friend - other people tag along to certain ones (usually local ones) at times but she's the only one prepared to travel and queue for ridiculous amounts of time with me so it works out

I can't imagine going to a BJ concert without my sister. She was with me for all of the 4 shows I've been to. First 2 we took my cousin, and although she was psyched, she was no where near as excited as my sis and I.

The 3rd one we took my sister's guy friend, who left to go back outside and tailgate right before the encore.... what a douche! lol He seems to have a thing for my sis, and I noticed him trying to get cozy with her each time they performed a ballad... I think he got bored and bounced when he realized that nothing in the world could divert my sister's attention from that stage. The only men that existed for those couple hours were Bon Jovi, particularly Jon.

On the 29th I went again with my sis and one of my really good friends. All three of us are die hard and nothing compares to that. It's definitely not as great of an experience just going with an "eh.." fan. When opening chords to songs like I'd Die for You and Blood on Blood began, we all immediately knew it and screamed and got psyched. I know we all felt that same exact adrenaline rush/anxiety the minute they hit the stage. We also tailgated with old die hard friends, and I think just being there with all those people on the last night of the tour in Jersey made it so much more special.

I've been going to Bon Jovi shows with my best mate Gail since the Crush tour in 2000. Before that I used to go with another friend but, tragically, she died in 1999 .... which was when I met Gail.

Various people have joined us over the years (got to mention Ellie here) but it's generally Gail and myself. We are best mates away from Bon Jovi too .... so on the odd occasion when we do shows on our own, it seems really weird and 'not right' somehow. I need my rockin' mate next to me.

Having said that, we met a superb bunch of people on this year's tour and I hope that we all meet up for future tours. We had great fun .... experienced the Milton Keynes high and the Hull low together ..... have recently met up for a 'BJ Reunion' .... doing the next tour without them would seem strange ......

Trisha - What a nice thing to say about the BJ reunion. It was good wasn't it??

Before I met Bernadette, I only went to one concert in London with a friend. Then in 2000 I met Bernadette through Backstage. We have been concert buddies ever since. In 2003 we did 4 concerts and Jenna and Lucy joined our club, and in 2006 Lee, Michelle, Trisha and Gail joined it to.

Concerts won't be the same if we didn't do it together. We all understand exactly how the other is feeling. Certain songs make us cry but we don't care because we're with people who understand the emotion we feel.

Thank you Bon Jovi for allowing me to meet such marvellous people while attending your concerts.
