According to a post on Backstage, Admin was testing the tour date function, but the dates (both old and upcoming) are fake. Clearly they didn't count on people desperately searching for info! One wonders WHY they didn't think of that, but whatever. Definitely not a seamless transition from one site to another.

EDIT - BTW, I edited the thread title so that we give out a minimal number of heart attacks.

OK, I didn't want to spread any hoax, neither Dave, who found it (admin of bonjovi.cz).

Considering they were just testing - could any of the places be real?? I mean the Rio show - that would be cool!!

I guess some of the places might be real. I think Philips Arena here in Atlanta was on the list. We generally get a show or 2 there during a tour. However, there's a note from JBJ on Backstage that is dated September 10, in which he says they're hitting the road in February. Until I see something official -- that could actually have a chance of happening! -- I'm going to figure on that.

No way are they doing an ampitheater in Novemeber in Colorado there was snow there last week!!!

This site has been taken down. In all likelihood it really was admin just testing the newly-designed page with some made-up old and new dates. Clearly, they shouldn't have been doing that with a page that the public could access even if it wasn't linked on the bonjovi.com site.

Since this is now over, I'm locking this thread. I'm leaving it in place so that we don't start all over again.
