1 You're right about Hey God being rare - it's the 3rd time i'm telling you this, i hope it's the last

2 I believe is always played on every tour in some point - usually in germany.
Ok, it's rare - again haven't I said that already?

3 in a previous post I wrote:
Quote:
apart from Hey god all the other songs are played

All the tracks except I believe, Something to believe in, diamond ring, these days, blood on blood, are regulars.
If was not explicit what I meant was:

1-Hey god = never played (since 96 )

2- I believe, Something to believe in, diamond ring, these days, blood on blood = rare, but are actualy played in some part of the tour

3-
1-prayer
2-bad name
3-wild in the streets
5-everyday
6-runaway
7-older
8-bed of roses
9-i'll be there for you (richie)
11-saturday night
12-it's my life
13-hands
14-sleep
15-medicine
16-shout
20-wanted
21- faith

all these tracks are regular in a Bon Jovi show, some may not be played on every show, but are actually played by the band

As to the version of These Days.....
I never thought the band would play the song in Madrid 2003, when they started playing it, me (and I assure you lot's of other people) stood speachless ... It's my all time favorite from the band and - again as I said before, this is getting repeating, istn't it? - despite the versions played during the 96 tour were better, the ones I heard - madrid and London 2003 - were pretty good. The band hadn't done these days for along time - remeber that in 96 it missed only 1 show in the whole tour. Nowardays it's a gemn that I most certanly wouldn't mind to hear it every time I see the band play live.

at last..

Why keep you insisting in Faith being rare. It's Not. It's played on almost every show since 92?

Now, just to make everything clear:
I'm fine your taste, the only thing I tried to say is that your "dream" set list hasn't got many rare songs in it. Probably you already heard, at least once, every one of these tracks live. I haven't heard a lot of the songs that are in my dream set list.
Now, that's not a critic, I was only highighting a fact

QUOTE:

it's not correct

QUOTE:

i believe and something to believe in...are so rare: both was played only 4 times in the last tour. i believe never played in own tour, believe in play only 4 times on own tour. then, this songs was not played in some parts of the tour.... it's so so rare!!

i think , you don't understand me. i know very well that these songs:
1-prayer
2-bad name
3-wild in the streets
5-everyday
6-runaway
7-older
8-bed of roses
9-i'll be there for you (richie)
11-saturday night
12-it's my life
13-hands
14-sleep
15-medicine
16-shout
20-wanted
21- faith

are usually play. but these songs , add believe in, i believe, these days, hey god....etc. , are impossible in only concert. in your maybe play. but in only one night...is impossible...then is a dream!

for these days i think that when we are the concert...we are happy, crazy, etc. you can't listen very well how jon sings!!if you have a bootleg like hyde park 03, manhaiem 03,monaco 03.....etc u can't listen very well that jon was orrible. the only one these days from 2003, that is good...is from kiel germany!

Not true. The last time they played it was in 2001 on the first night in Holland, June 5th. I was there.

Also not true. They played it in Japan a few times, and then played it again in Holland as well because me and my friends requested it. It became an audible since then and was played again in Mannheim if I remember correctly, because they just played all the audibles. If we would not have requested it it would not have appeared on their sets again.

Ok, i'll only refer to facts from now on:

1- Hey God was played regualarly in 96
- it was played once in 2000 (10-11-00 Philadelphia, PA, USA)
- 4 times in 2001 (28-03-01 Yokohama, Japan, 31-03-01 Osaka Dome, Osaka, Japan, 20-04-01 Anaheim, CA, USA, 05-06-01 Amsterdam, Netherlands)
-none in 2003

It was played 5 times since 96, so I think it's a very rare song
Ok, I admit, when I said it was never played since 96, I didn't mean that literally, what I meant was that it is in fact a very very rare song - almost impossible to catch since 96.

2-I Believe
-1993- almost every night (if not every night)
-1995 - at least 15 times
-1996: at least 4 times (04-06-96 El Molinon, Gijon, Spain, 13-06-96 Erfurt, Germany, 11/06/96 Bettembourg, Luxemburg, 09-06-96 Enschede, Netherlands)
-2000 - 4 times (Hippodrome Wellington Ostend, Belgium 27-08-00, 01-09-00 Arnheim, Netherlands, 02-09-00 Bremen, Germany, 05-09-00 Waldbuehne, Berlin, Germany)
-2001: not played
-2003: 3 times (16-01-03 Tokyo, Japan, 17-01-03 Tokyo, Japan, 06-06-03 Bremen, Germany)

Ok, now on this one I really thought the band had played I Believe more often. Still it's more likely to be played than Hey God -when they played I believe in Bremen 2003 it was clear that they hadn't rehearsed it, unlike Hey god, which they need to rehearse because most certanly they won't remember either the words and the notes.
When I said it was likely to be heard in Germany I was thinking about the Crush tour when it was played there twice

3-Something to believe in
1996- in almost every show
2000 - none
2001 - 6 times (31-03-01 Osaka Dome, Osaka, Japan, 03-04-01 Nagoya, Japan, 05-04-01 Tokyo Dome, Tokyo Japan, 05-06-01 Amsterdam, Netherlands, 20-06-01 Cologne, Germany, 30-06-01 Munich, Germany)
2003: 5 times (13-06-03 Munich, Germany, 17-06-03 kiel. Germany, 27-07-03 Bristow, VA, USA, 04-07-03 Pittsburgh, PA, USA, 15-07-03 Minneapolis, MN, USA)

It was played 11 times since 96 - hey god was played 5. It's a very rare song, but again you might be lucky enough to hear it

As to These Days, if your dream set list is to be heard on cd, my advice is for you to burn some cds with all the tracks you love, the way you love them. My dream set list, if played, would be a dream set list because i'd be there and could keep that in my memory. Of course a bootleg of the show is a nice souvenir. But the aim would be to actually be there when it was played.

-----------------------------

Now, take a look at this set list:

13-06-03 Munich, Germany
Bounce / You Give Love A Bad Name / Wild In The Streets / Livin' On A Prayer / Everyday / Lay Your Hands On Me / Keep The Faith / Sympathy For The Devil / Wanted Dead Or Alive / In These Arms / It's My Life / Bed Of Roses / The Distance / Runaway / Diamond Ring / Heroes / Someday I'll Be Saturday Night / Jersey Girl / Just Older / I'll Be There For You (Richie) / Something To Believe In / Undivided / Born To Be My Baby / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Rockin' All Over The World / Raise Your Hands / Misunderstood / Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars / Bad Medicine / Shout / These Days / Twist & Shout

the songs that are missing from your dream set list?
I believe, Hey God - the rarest -, runaway and blood - 4 songs; not bad if considered that you're dream set list had 22 songs... 18 were played

and if you would happen to attend to 06-06-03 Bremen, Germany - just 7 days prior, guess what you would hear?????
Bounce / You Give Love A Bad Name / Wild In the Streets / Livin' On A Prayer / Everyday / Undivided / Keep the Faith / Wanted Dead Or Alive / Misunderstood / It's My Life / Runaway / In These Arms (David singing the first verse) / The Distance / I'll Be There For You (Richie on lead vocals) / Blood On Blood / Someday I'll Be Saturday Night / Born To Be My Baby / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (Dancin' In the Streets & Rockin' All Over the World) / Raise Your Hands / Bad Medicine (Shout) / I Got The Girl / I Believe

I believe, runaway and blood on Blood.

In 2 shows thare's only 1 track missing.

Look, I'd be very very happy if all the tracks from my dream set list - except only 1 - could be played in 2 or 3 shows.

The point is:
Ok, there are 4/5 tracks really hard to heard, but overall, out of 22, you get to hear 15/16 tracks of your dream set list very often. I wish i could hear 1/2 of my dream set list every night - you heard at least 13 tracks out of your dream set list every single night in the Bounce tour.

4 of 5 something to believ in from bounce tour were acoustic.not the real one.
the concerto that u have post for give an example...it's a strange, incredible and too long concert. only one times in their life bon jovi sings more than 30 songs in a night
and monaco 2003, from song number to end it's terrible!!!

Strange, still it happened not so long ago
Also, there were lots of tracks that were played in that show that didnt made your dream set list

Now let me give you an example to see you understand what i'm saying:
Take a random show from Bounce tour:

25-05-03 Erfurt, Germany
Bounce / You Give Love A Bad Name / Wild In the Streets / Livin' On A Prayer / Everyday / Runaway / Keep the Faith / Wanted Dead Or Alive / In These Arms / It's My Life / Someday I'll Be Saturday Night / Just Older / Misunderstood / I'll Be There For You (Richie on lead vocals) / Blaze of Glory / Hook Me Up / Born To Be My Baby / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Raise Your Hands / Heroes (David Bowie cover) / Twist And Shout / Undivided / Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars / Bad Medicine (Shout)

How many tracks were played from your dream set list?
14

The set list you proposed has the same structure with some gemns in the middle.I'm not telling you that it's wrong, just that it's not so different from what they did in the Bounce tour - I for once would be very glad if 14 out of my 22 fav songs were played every night

I don't think knowing the words and/or notes has got anything to do with them not playing Hey God. It was because they wanted their shows to be positive, and Jon didn't want to play many songs from These Days because they're so dark. When he was asked about which songs he should start playing during the Crush tour people requested Hey God, but he said "nah, it's too negative"

I Believe is just a positive song, plus Jon is playing guitar on it, and he can do some guitar solo's in that song. It's just more fun to play for him than Hey God is. But I'm sure that if we'd requested Hey God or Damned on our banners, we would've gotten those songs instead of I Believe.

Sebastiaan
