Twickenham 27th June - On stage Tickets

I live in Southampton so I am going to that show as I did in 2006. I believe that the band (Jon) were saving some energy for the MK shows. The set was a little shorter at 23 songs but It was a great show. I think this time is very different though as it's the first UK show, then they leave the Uk and come back later in the month. There are also no shows either side of this date.

Remember also that it is very rare for a big band to play down here the crowd treat it as a one off.

I couldn't resist the 2nd Twickeham date.

I had VIP tix for a show I saw in November. There is absolutely no female preferrential treatment shown. We picked up our tickets day of show, they gave me and my husband wrist bands to be worn showing only an L or an R (left side or right side of stage). We were in the second group to go on. We were to be on stage during songs 5,6 and 7.

We had to go during song 4 to meet with security and make our way up to the stage. I don't feel I missed anything at all. We were allowed to take cameras up with us but were told not to use a flash (but I have noticed that depending on the security standing with you up there, the level of enforcing this rule varies night to night)

All in all, it was a good experience. Would I do it again?...Only if someone else bought the tickets (as was the case this time )

Southampton was a super ace show! Not only because Bj was on fire but the crowd was on fire too!! Incredible audience!

Whilst it being a fab experience, not sure if I would do it again. In a stadium next time maybe, so I could see a bigger crowd. Carli and I went onstage in NJ and got high fives from Jon. Pretty Awesome. I got given a ticket for Hull last year and BJ security wouldn't let me on, as group 4, is females only. This rule has obviously now changed that they are charging extreme amounts for the experience.

If it was me with the ticket, I think I'd like to know what could possibly happen but as you guys pointed out, now you have to pay for it, you'll most likely have no problems. As I said before, hope you have a blast man and you never know..... you might just be in the group that gets 'Dry County' played!!! Then you'll be on stage for aaaaaaaages!

check out my avatar!!!!!!! manchester 06, absoloutely awsome time, got on by fluke,my wife given the wristband and asked the guy giving them out for another for her husband( i`d gone for a beer!!) got loads of hi 5`s from jon, best experience ever, after 20 years of being a fan i was exstatic, got some great pictures and missed hardly any of the gig.

thanks guys for all your replies , much appreciated, do any of you know or have experience of how to pick up the VIP tickets, i believe i get them on the day of the show but not compl sure how or where, assume it is from the ticket office??????
