To be fair, you can't really expect them to sell ALL the GC tickets in the presale ... that'd be unfair to the general buying public

This isn't Queen & Paul Rodgers, though, is it? This is Bon Jovi.

you don't expect me to quote you each time you don't know what you said b4 do you?
I know exactly what you said, I was proving a point. Nowhere did I state, implicitly or otherwise, that it was industry practice.

The big difference here is that Bon Jovi never advertise that they're selling the best tickets in the presale. They can sell whatever the hell they like, whenever the hell they like. If the person booking the tickets doesn't have the forsight to check the seating plan, that's their own fault.

Go check Ticketmaster, who the main presale was with. I've bought presale seats before for the Bounce tour, there's a seating chart and always has been.

Agreed. I bought Dublin tickets for 2006 through a Ticketmaster presale, and knew straight away where they were - before I'd confirmed and paid for them. For what it's worth, they were superb seats too.
