If you asked the average person (especially in America) as to who has more credibility...Bon Jovi or U2...U2 would come out on top 99/100 times. I love both but the point I was trying to make in the article was that I don't feel Bon Jovi is in a realm where they deserve or have the right to charge $300+ for a ticket.
I didn't mean a lot with the U2 comment, but I've even had serious discussions with most Bon Jovi fans and in the end, they usually agree with me that U2 is just on a different plane than Bon Jovi. Not better or worse, just different.

Its true about U2, weather we like it or not. Theyr the biggest band on the planet, and the critics darlings. Theyr one of the few bands that I respect, as I know theyr that damn good.
But as for the artivles there, very well written.
I particulary liked the part;

To understand a fan, you have to be one”. What would Jon Bon Jovi have done if Southside Johnny, J Giles Band and Bruce Springsteen had charged a week’s salary to see one of their shows? Would Jon have been inspired to make music and change lives? What if he couldn’t afford to be inspired and became a full time shoe salesman?

I'd like to see Jon answer that one on GMTV tomorrow morning!
