Great to see, although it's gonna be an amazing logistical effort to tear down the stage in Perth and move it all the over to Melbourne for the next show!

Glad they are willing to make the effort though, finally Aussie fans are rewarded for their loyalty.

Good way to piss off the Adelaide fans more. I am going to Sydney to check them out anyway, but you would think that they would announce a date in Adelaide rather than a third night in Sydney, surely?

This explains how they have fitted in a second show, from Triple M's website

"Due to popular demand the Jov have announced two final shows in both those cities.

The dates are:
December 10 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
December 19 - Sydney Football Stadium

Promoter Paul Dainty told Triple M's Hot Breakfast: "We tried everything to get a second show at Etihad [in Melbourne] but physically getting 36 trucks of gear up to Brisbane in 48 hours from Melbourne was an impossibility."

"[Bon Jovi] came back to me and said 'we don't care, you find a solution to do a second show'. And as luck would have it the Friday night was available the night at Rod Laver.

"So I told [Bon Jovi] about that and they said 'go for it, we wanna do it'. So they're going to fly into Melbourne a day earlier and free up a whole lot of demand that's out there."

And get this, if you get your hands on tickets to this show, you’ll be able to say you saw Bon Jovi in Melbourne first as it's scheduled for Dec 10!

How good is that?

Promoters say these shows will definitely be the last chance to see Bon Jovi live on this tour.

Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Tuesday August 3"

So while the stage is being trucked over from Perth, they will fly over and set up a smaller stage at Rod Laver Arena (it's a much smaller venue than Ethihad Stadium, 15,000 as opposed to 50,000).

At least this will let a few more fans see them, although they probably could have filled Ethihad again.

I really want to go to the rod laver show.

It's totally a better venue sound wise for concerts, and obviously a lot smaller and more intimate.

I wish I had a money tree so I could afford to go. I'd happily shell out again but I'm in smoe dire financial straits at the moment, so won't be able to.
