Petty shows had the most pot smoking I've seen in years followed closely by Dave Mathews. I was thinking I was pretty much the only person in my whole area that wasn't getting high. I've never really seen it or smelled it much at Bon Jovi or at Springsteen, u2 seemed to have it's share as well.

This is true for me too - I'm not sure where other people from the US are seeing bands but here in NY or NJ there is a large pot smoking contingent.

The Dave Matthews shows I've been to have their pot smokers but by far and away they also have the most cigarette smokers. Even though smoking indoors at Madison Square Garden is banned (either pot or cigarettes) the last Dave Matthews concert I was at would have given anyone lung cancer

In all my years, I don't think I've ever seen *anyone* try and get away with smoking pot at an Arena show in the UK. Back in the day there was smoking at appropriate club shows, and I'm sure anything outdoors it's still acceptable today. There just seemed this tacit understanding at Petty and Phish that once you had cleared security and were in the arena that it was okay...

Outside Phish saw someone get busted for weed - a job that required six paddy wagonses. And a couple of unfortunate hippies pulled over roadside having their car turned inside out.

I've only seen Dope smoked at two indoor concerts. Velvet Revolver in Dublin and Queens Of The Stone Age in Belfast.

It bothers me far less than normal cigarette smoke for some reason

Yikes--it looks like pot smokers are the least of our problems!

Report: 100 Russian skinheads attack concertgoers

MOSCOW – Scores of bare-chested skinheads attacked a crowd of about 3,000 people at... the "Tornado" rock festival...in central Russia on Sunday, beating them with clubs, media reports said. Dozens of people were left bloodied and dazed in the attack...a 14-year-old girl was killed...

Russia has an ingrained neo-Nazi skinhead movement. Attacks on dark-skinned foreigners in Moscow and St. Petersburg have been relatively common in recent years...

Russia's ultranationalist movement is so deeply embedded in the country's culture that militant groups have sprouted up around Russia to fight it. Anti-racist groups regularly spearhead attacks on ultranationalists, sparking revenge assaults in an intensifying clash of ideologies...
