For some reasons I cannot imagine no supporting acts in stadiums, the waiting doing nothing would be TOO LONG, no ?...

Yeah, because they're obviously going to care about 100 Backstagers queing up to get to the front row. If you can wait all day, camp out in front of a venue I'm sure the extra 2 hours won't hurt you.

Meanwhile I'll just arrive at the venue roughly at 7, get in at 7:30 and the show starts an hour later. The waiting isn't really the problem, it's just not done to do a show in Europe without a support act.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Well Hyde Park is a "festival" so I'm expecting a minimum of 2 acts before Bon Jovi. Also, with a definitive and supposedly unbreakable curfew of 10.30pm, I'm reckoning they'll come on at 8pm latest.

Here are some of my thoughts re : support in UK or Europe :

Vega - class new band, perfect modern/old crossover.

Little Angels

FM : both the above pulling in the 80's crowd.

H.E.A.T. : would be too good to be true, the best hard rock band around at the moment.

Big and Rich : still wouldn't 100% rule this out.

Since Crush the support bands in the UK have been crap. Would be nice to see a decent hard rock band.

It's gotta be Nickelback again, just so I can see them in Ireland again.

If Jon wasn't so against the nostalgia/80s thing Foreigner would be awesome. Seen them support Journey, they were terrific fun and would suit the Bon jovi crowd.

Yes, the doors for the general public open at 4? or 5 so it is still a lot of time 'till the show starts.

Love Eclipse but they are 'too rock' for Jovi these days.

W.E.T. wouldbe better option if Erik Martenson was too be involved.
