years ago the doors opened at 2pm and you had 2 or 3 supports acts and it was a real good day.
Now the doors open at 4pm-5pm and you get one act - that youve never heard of - but somehow the tickets are twice as expensive!

I met DR Network at an autograph signing in Notts on their SLAM tour and I asked them to sign my leather jacket sleeve. They did happily but Dan Reed noticed I had a Bon Jovi painting on the back of my jacket he didnt look very happy at all. Rumours came out that there was some bad blood between BJ and DRN when they toured in 89.

Oh what a shame. Weds was the first time of seeing Dan Reed for me, having loved his early stuff I'm loving his new album even more. Met him after the gig , as everyone did - such a lovely person. Think he would go down a storm on the Tour but if there's some problem between them it's probably a non starter sadly.

Ps Dan plays Rock City 14th March

i had the opportunity to hang out with Dan Reed and a couple of other people at a pub in late 2011. he was talking about the music industry and mentioned Bon Jovi, let's say, in not so flattering terms. it wasn't pretty.

I would put Heavens Basement in there as serious contenders they are getting alot of exposure since signing to Red Bull Records. They have opened for Halestorm and Tremonti here in the UK and Buckcherry in the States. They will also be on the main stage at Download this year. Their lead singer is a bit nuts, I seen them open for Tremonti a few weeks ago with my boys from Logan who were awesome. Logan opened at Hampden for Bon Jovi in 2008 and they were great would love if they were in the mix again.

Personally I can see it being 3 Doors Down, as they are over in Europe in the summer doing the festival circuit and will be in the UK playing Download the week of some of the UK gigs.

Jon doesn't like that band. They were supposed to be the support act of Bon Jovi in 2003, then Jon found out and the band cancelled 6 months in advance because "they were sick".

Salaam Aleikum,
