Default UK support acts

Hi,

Anyone have any idea's on support acts?

Heard a rumour of Franz Ferdinand and The Darkness have an album out in november so you never know.

I would of thought like Hyde Park (Ray Davies) the Wembley gig will have a very special guest as well as the support.

Anyone hear any rumours on support/guests? or who do you think (not want) will possibly do it?

Cheers

Jamie

Richie told the Daily Record that he "digged" Franz Ferdinand and would love to "jam" with them on stage. I seriously can't see the art school rockers going to hampden to open the Hampden show, but I suppose it's not out of the question that they will be appearing to do a song. That's what Richie said he was hoping for. But All 4 of them? What the hell are they going to sing? A Slipknot cover?

who do i not want doing it... since you mentioned them franz ferdinand to be totally honest. I'll be coming in later if they're doing it but i can't see them supporting anyways.

bloc party, razorlight or the kaisers would be quite cool since out of everyone thats cutting about just now in the UK, they're the best live performers.

It will be some American garage rock band that nobody really knows about. I certainly hope it isn't Razorlight or any other NME bands. Razorlight are the single most over rated band I've ever heard and Johnny Borrel is a cock. How can he possibly say he's better than Bob Dylan? His lyrics suck and I can't stand his voice. I'm telling you Franz won't do it either. But it's September 2005. We won't know till April or something.

I'd like to see them supported by Hurricane Party and The Ga Gas or Glitterati.

I guess we'll soon find out..

a few bands who would be very welcome would be the glitterari, hope of the states, stereophonics, Embrace, Athlete, Rooster or the Secret Machines!

any of them would be awesome!

im guessin the stereophonics are too big for the slot, altho i can see the others fitting in...
