Brother in law works in Hampden so I'm getting hospitality (aka bar access) and decent seats for £35 a skull

I can deal with those prices.

Over £100 for GC? What a ****ing joke. I paid about half that for Soton a few years ago. I think my Bon Jovi gig days are over, I'm not paying that much for any band. The sodding Stone Roses haven't played (minus one gig) for X years and their tickets are half the price ffs

It's all a question of supply and demand. If they sell out the venue with GC tickets over 100 pounds, well that proves enough people are willing to pay that price for premium seats.

Just compare to U2 / Stones / Bruce - same story.

Lies, I picked it up on the day of the show. As mentioned in that thread they were poor sellers so it was a last minute thing, reduced baby

Well then you are not comparing like for like.
Wait for the last day. If they are overpriced they will be poor sellers and you can buy it again cheap.. If not, they were not overpriced.

Do you guys think US prices could be slashed as well and be cheaper? Would make them look better after Sandy etc. especially since they're gonna be announced soo late.
