Default UNOFFICIAL Nickelback summer dates

I found this list of UNOFFICIAL Nickelback summer dates on a Nickelback forum (http://www.nickelback-forum.com/announcement.php?f=9)

If they are still touring with Bon Jovi in the summer, these dates are interesting, especially the last one.

Montreal, QC

15 July 2006

18 July 2006
Citizens Bank Ballpark
Philadelphia, PA

22 July 2006
CominskyPark
Chicago, IL

27 July 2006
Gillete Stadium
Foxboro, MA

29 July 2006

Oh man - I can't imagine Nickelback selling out Yankees, Shea and Giants Stadiums by themselves.

Those dates are sure in the right period of time too.

There is no way Nickelback would be playing stadiums by themselves. I'd say those are the dates we'll see Bon Jovi at those stadiums. My bet would be they won't play 3 nights in a row, so since they are playing Foxboro on July 27, I wouild count on the tour wrapping up Saturday and Sunday at Giants.

The guy who posted that at the Nickelback forums is a member of the Admin team, so its looking quite likely if you ask me!!

And why would Nickelback end their tour in NJ, if it didnt have anything to do with Bon Jovi? Sounds a bit of a coincidence to be honest!

OH

MY

GOD !!!!

Thank you for posting these.... I don't know how I am going to concentrate at work today!!

I am so hoping these turn out to be the actual dates because I will already be in NY on July 15 and July 28 at Yankee games.... does anyone know how far it is from Yankee Stadium to Giants? And isn't Shea ony about a half hour from Yankee Stadium?

The one I want to go to more than anything of course is the one at Yankee Stadium and I will somehow have to figure out how to get myself down there.... where there is a will there is a way....

Everyone start praying these will become the confirmed Jovi dates... 2 dates work out so perfectly for me.... I need to get on my knees and start with the Hail Mary's right now....

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Lizz - Shea, Yankee and Giants Stadiums are not as close as they sound - or even look on a map.

Shea Stadium is out in Queens but there is public transportation from Manhattan. Yankee Stadium is in the Bronx and there is transportation there too from Manhattan. To get from one to the other though will take some doing and knowing the subway system.

Giants Stadium is somewhere in the swamps of Jersey (if you're not a Bruce fan you won't get the lyric but it's accurate LOL)

There is really no transportation from the city to Giants. It's possible that there is a busline that goes close enough that you could get there but it won't be easy.

However, if you are in the area, it can all be done somehow. Even if you have to get a cab (or a limo) it's possible to get there. It's just more expensive.

There is. There's a Fairfield Inn about 1/2 mile from Giants Stadium, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes right into Port Authority (and back.)

It's actually quite simple.
