Vegas Setlist

I was able to get to this show after all. Everyone has to understand that the entire front floor section was all VIP's, celebrities. They sat for the first few songs. MC Hammer was the only one rocking out, lol!! So, I fully expected new songs mixed with greatest hits. I also new the show would be around 90 minutes because of all the "after" show stuff that happens.

I Love This Town was a surprise for me. I liked it, lol! It works well live. And Whole Lot Of Leavin' was really good.

I think O2 will be longer and a little more varied but for the most part I don't really expect any surprises. Jon had a ton of energy for the Tiger Jam show. He sounded good too. They all seemed to have the most fun playing the new stuff. Jon did have all of the stuffy VIP's out of their seats and some even dancing in the aisles by the time he did Shout. And I know everyone groans seeing Shout on there but it still works especially with a VIP crowd that are really there to support the "charity" not becuase they like Bon Jovi.

It's something I've noticed Richie does. As soon as they're not supporting whatever song requires a special guitar, it goes back into storage. I guess they didn't want to bring the double neck just for one song and for tuning reasons Bobby had to do it, I'd assume.

I'm going to assume, with MAM declining in the charts, that they are going to release another single over the summer months. I'm betting that since they didn't play Any Other Day that it won't be that second single. My money is still on We Got it Goin On...

I think they will release another single for country radio only soon since MAM didn't make it there but will leave MAM a bit longer for other radio formats as it's still gaining a bit airplay on Hot AC even if the downloads are declining (which is why it's going down on the HOT 100).

Hmmm. I wonder if that means they'll select a more country sounding song as the next single then.

I hope not, but it would be a logic move after the success of WSYCGH. I'd prefer We Got It Going On or Any Other Day though.

I remember reading somewhere that Jon said Stranger was a possible single. Maybe the third one after WGIGO?
