Im assuming its just jon trying to make everyone feel included, which is cool I guess. I was surprised with in these arms, I figured since ILTT was last, always was next to finish it, but in these arms worked out fine because my girlfriend was so bummed it wasnt played up until that point..it was her first bon jovi song that I introduced her to that she didnt know besides prayer, wanted / always, that got her hooked onto the band...now she's trying to find another show for us to go do..I created a monster and it's getting expensive, haha.

I have a few issues with how In These Arms has been played for the last few years. Obviously, Bobby's solo is absolutely abysmal and he should be put down for that utter shite. However, it's equally annoying how Richie just plays straight chords in the chorus rather than the arpeggios he plays on the album. For me, they make the song and don't really know why he chooses not to play them?

Dude, I hear you! I met and got married to this girl in between LH and Circle. She agreed to do the 3 show tour with me (2 nights in Dallas/ 1 in Tulsa). She liked it so much we booked out vacation to Chicago, guess when? Yes, when BJ did the Soldier Field shows. Now that she has Damned, Dry County, Always, etc under her belt, she wants more. She is actually becoming quite the snob. We went to Vegas and our last one will be in Milwaukee. Go to Milwaukee! Help us get This Ain't A Love Song and Wild is the Wind... or whatever. I am pretty agreeable

ITA sounded great there... other than the solo. Richie has got kind of lazy in his old age. When he is given the time, he still has the ability to wail but the little things are now gone. I first noticed it on the Bounce Tour. During the Distance he played the electric rhythm part. I guess David carried the lead. I don't remember if there were strings in the live version or not. It'd be a lot for David to handle. I have noticed it countless times since.

i know what you mean, but the arpeggios are brilliant in that song, sound fantastic, they're not hard to play - i just don't get why he doesn't play them?
