I remember my first tour following PBPs was Lost Highway, in those summer nights in Europe (10 years ago already, f*** me!) you could really feel the excitement even sitting at home in front of your PC

There was no mobile internet, no smartphones, no Twitter, no Instagram... people used to send SMS to someone which would post on the board

You really had the feeling they could pull off something special and rare every night... when someone called "lyric sheet has been placed on the stage" you started wondering which rare gem was about to being played

Ah, how times have changed!

I started out on the Lost Highway Tour as well. Man that Europe Tour was something else during the PBPs. Can't believe it's been 10 years!!

Shit... and to think I'll never experience that kind of excitement here myself! As far as my expectations go, I sadly don't believe they'll ever be that unpredictable setlist-wise again.

Man...good old times. I started to follow the PBP during the LH tour too. We had very epics PBP threads, but this one was one of the most epic in my book:

The set list was totally unexpected, and I remember myself going crazy reading the posts. (not used to post too much in that time, just like today)

I think the last PBP that was truly enjoyable was the 2013 Tampa, Florida. Not just because of the setlist...but who can forget Collins Ridge???

PS.: Sorry for the off topic.

Watching that Brisbane footage I would argue the band is in a much better state now than then. On the current tour it actually looks and feels like bon Jovi (for me at least) but 2013-2017 wasn't good.

The pbp's on the 2010/11 tour were great to follow along and a lot of fun, I was actually kind of sad when that 1.5 year run had ended in Lisbon because I had gotten so used to it.
After that it's gotten pretty bland and boring and it's not even half as great as it had used to be from 2008-2011.

What a guy. Most fun I've ever had watching a Bon Jovi livestream since 2013.

I hope Jon continues to improve in this show. I don't think he pushed his voice for a " very good one-off, unsustainable 120% performance". If he decided to push in this leg, he'll do it on the big shows, Canada, Washington or MSG.

Don't forget Prudential - there he will probably give at least 500%!
