Angry Very Frustrated!

I had to work yesterday so I was unable to go in to Ticketmaster and get tickets for the Dallas show on presale hoping some would more be released today. At 10:00, they were all sold out. I was disappointed but a little confused why none would be available at 10:01. But my disappointment turned to frustration when I go into several of the ticket brokers and they have THOUSANDS of tickets for at least 3 times the face value. Who is responsible for the fans not being able to buy the tickets - is it Ticketmaster or the acts???? I have never before not been able to buy tickets to a Bon Jovi show, even when I didnt buy them on presale. Does anytone else feel my frustration?

I was trying to do the same thing. Yes, tickets are pretty much sold out if you are looking for more than 1 ticket. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

This sounds like a ticketmaster thing to me. The band has no control over the ticket distribution, they simply contract with Ticketmaster to carry their show tickets and leave it up to ticketmaster to keep those tickets safe and for sale to fans.

I've beensaying for awhile that the problem is that Ticketmaster is the only real game in town, just like Clear channel is the only game in town to play the size venues BJ plays in. As I understand it you pretty much don't get to do one without the other, you have to let Ticketmaster sell your shows or you can't play in the venue that you want and visa versa. I think the problem comes in when you get down to the people selling tickets for ticketmaster. They are what $6.00 to $7.00 dollar an hour employees?? And here come some broker offering them a few hundred bucks to give out security passwords early so that the broker can pre-program it into a hundred high speed computers and buy tickets in seconds. Or have them block out sections of tickets so their paid stooges can get to the box office and buy up primo seats. The only way to fix this is to take the money out of it, unfortunately with live shows being big money I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I encountered the same problems this morning. I tried getting tickets yesterday, but had no luck. So, I went on this morning. I had to settle for 2 tickets to get decent seats instead of the 4 I really needed. Now, 2 people that were going to go can't because I couldn't get enough tickets. I never had problems like this trying to get seats for Bon Jovi. I am actually very disappointed. I lost an hour of work this morning to go buy these tickets and I couldn't even get what I needed.

You're telling me. I thought I was quick on the draw, right at 9:59 refreshing and refreshing. Finally the page comes up. Look for 3 tickets. Already way in the back of the lower level not providing a great view. Search one more time...UPPER LEVEL.

Ridiculous. And then I see those tickets on eBay and through friggin' scalping websites for 3-4 times the face value. This is ridiculous.

I had no luck either. I was on immediately, trying to get 3 tickets and only pulled up really bad 3rd level seats. I got one fair single ticket, but two of us still need tickets. It's just not worth the time and expense of traveling to be at the back of the venue.

Im here!!! I am in the same boat! I am just frustrated cuz I cannot get tickets to the tampa show. I even had the password for the presale, we started looking at 9 am on Friday, my hubby was on here for 6 hours straight and the only tickets where in the nose bleed sections. I tried again today for hours then called ticketmaster twice, still NO luck. I pray that the reschedule the FT. Lauderdale soon! and do not cancel it all together.

Are they offering an auction to the shows you're trying to get into? You can get somewhere in the 7th - 13th or so row without spending an arm or a leg... give it a try if they offer it. ....the only thing is the stress will kill you until the acution closes!!

(I got 7th row this way)

Ticketmaster totally blows. I was online as soon as the presale opened and ended up with floor seats WAY in the back. THen I find out that Ticketmaster is auctioning off alot of the first nine rows. He who has the most money is the biggest fan!!! (at least according to TM). After TM fees, building fees, and screw you fees, it cost me well over $300.00 for three tickets, I couldn't afford to try the auction.
