Sorry. Poor wording. I meant 'mix up' not 'replaced'. I honestly think acoustic 'Saturday Night' should be dropped. It's nice but it's nothing compared to electric. I do think 'Saturday Night' should be electric and they should start playing 'In These Arms' acoustic.

Unjust how?

It's totally justified to say Lost Highway sold way more than The Circle. It's as simple as that, there are no large issues at hand here.

Pitty more songs ain't played live. I don't get the talk that the songs ain't working live. Born To Follow is a big song live, the audience is really into it. Working Man DOES WORK, don't get what you are trying to say ? When I saw them everybody really was into the "work", "hurt", "curse" parts. Love's the Only Rule also was great live. Beautiful is too slow live, and back to back with Superman it just don't work.

For me at least 5 songs from The Circle shall be played every night. Open the shows with Happy Now. Throw in Born To Follow, Working Man, Love's the Only Rule and Thorn. Mix them up with Brokenpromiseland, Bullet and Superman Tonight.

Pretty sad this... Remember the Crush Tour when almost 9 songs from the album were played every night...

This was a really great point to be a fan! Crush songs were being played with so much pride by the band, I was almost relieved at one point that they hadn't become a nostalgia act. This changed by the time it morphed into the OWN tour, but this got to be the norm for the following tours (first leg a lot of new songs, following legs down to 3-5 new ones.)

Thiking about it a bit more, sales must have a LOT to do with the bands decisions of how many new songs to play, the HAND tour had a lot f new songs played, as did the LH tour.

This is true, but that was 4 albums ago. They have more material to choose from now.

I really hope they'll at least debut one of the remaining Circle tracks on the rest of this NA tour.

That's silly. There's no way they played that many songs off of Crush because they didn't have enough material to choose from.

The probems are that on the one hand the sales of TC were bad and on the other hand Jon isn't that proud on this record as he used to say.
Jon said during a Q&A in London that they hadn't played "Brokenpromiseland" because they had no time to rehearse it. They were nearly a month in the same city and they didn't have the time to rehearse some new songs? It's a typical "lie-moment" of Jon. If he believes in these songs, I'm sure they would play them. They played "Open all night" because Jon loves this song and not because it's a crowd pleaser or a wish of the most fans. If Jon has the same love or believe in the Circle songs they would have played them instead.

I firmly believe they love this album and the songs. Jon's interest in philanthropy, sports teams, and acting has tapered off and I really thought he fell back in love with music. I don't understand.

I think they love this album too. It's got some very self-indulgent songs like Happy Now, WWBTF, and WWWB. I think this album is a real reflection of what they were feeling when they were writing it. I don't think it was by-the-numbers.

I couldn't agree more. I saw the tour early on in Philadelphia and Jon sang those songs with conviction and passion. I left the shows absolutely blown away. I just wish they had continued playing the new material. One of the reasons I bought tickets to so many shows this tour was that I had hoped to hear more songs from The Circle. Instead I have heard far fewer
