It honestly depends. It depends on what mode of transport people are taking. If people are staying in the city centre of Birmingham they will take the train to Witton station, so meeting in the centre is the best bet. Plenty of pubs around Birmingham New Street station.

People driving and parking at the stadium are very limited. Apart from match days I would not touch a single pub in the Witton/Aston area as the place is as rough and dodgy as they come. Star City in Nechelles (a huge entertainment complex) is nearby - about 1.5 mile away with an array of decent bars and restaurants inside the complex. This would be the obvious bet. Free parking is available here too, but not sure on the rules and regulations of how long you can park here. I know they have enforcements though.

I know the gates open at 4, but was wondering what sort of time people start queuing?

So who's going, and what time are people getting there? Rumour has it that my Dutch arch nemesis is going to this show too.

I think I'm getting there for about lunchtime, having a bit of lunch in star city and then making my way to the ground about 3ish.

I'll be in the Gold Circle wearing a Philly Soul t shirt with my very tall blonde haired wife. If anyone sees us come over and say hello!

Depending on how late I get back to Notts from Manc, I'll probably roll up mid afternoon as I'm going with the bro now. Given how unappetising the local area around the stadium seems, we will probably turn up and go straight in and spend the whole concert wondering how many wheels will be left on the motor by the time we go and pick it up!

I'll be there too - Getting into the city for about 1, meeting up with a mate then going for a few drinks.

We're in the cheap seats so will probably arrive at the ground around 7ish. Because we can!

Got The Stone Roses in London on the Friday, then up to Manchester very early Saturday morning before leaving for Birmingham on Sunday. Depending on how knackered I am I should be checking into a hotel about 1pm. If I feel okay then it will be meet a few people for more drinks....or go to bed till about 6pm. I'm In Gold Circle so not bothered about getting in too early.

Choose an official car park you'll be fine. Just don't leave it in a residential area. I'm gonna park in the Power League parking
