Well my gamble worked! Now have Diamond Circle tickets and refund has been processed for my Gold ones! Result!

Icing on the cake would now be Richie turning up on Sunday night - unlikely but we all live in hope....

Only 2 more sleeps! Yay!

Nothing. Goto either Star City or the City centre. Aston/Witton is a bit of a dump.

I think some people are giving he area a bit of a bad rep. I've lived here all my 25 years of life and yeah we've had things happen in the past but it's different now. There's a tesco down the road so can pop down to get drinks and a bite at the cafe and there's Aston park across the round to lazy in before concert.

It is a residential area so we don't really have bars and clubs, but plenty of fast food places. Walsal road, lozells and city centre is like 10 minutes away. There's gonna be shuttle bus to and from the centre so no hassle at all.

News stories don't make an area it's the people that do and I love it here.

Any suggestions in local press or media about how long the concert will last?

Jon joked the police in Manchester would arrest him if he played past 11 and think they left the stage around 2250.

Fingers crossed they are on stage 10-15min earlier tonight.

There are literally houses directly behind the trinity rd stand so don't expect a late one or any lengthy set list
