Yes, he is from a boyband. And in my opinion his music didn't change very much since. Still soft pop music.

It for sure was Jon's choice since they are good friends. He even appeared in the Wanted live-video in one scene.

but surely they must be realising that ronan won't be getting any new fans when touring with bon jovi? i mean ronan could easily do a tour on his own, he doesnt need BJ. it would have been much better if jon had picked a rock band thats fairly unknown. but a POP musician like ronan will set the BJ audience asleep i fear

I think they r hoping they nick a few of Ronans fans / This'll fill the stadiums up.

Hopefully he will only be support on mainland Europe and not the UK. He's probably more popular in the UK than Bon Jovi, and dosen't really need to be supporting anybody!

what? an ex boy bander? doesn't the band hate them? zurich night..... only hope for me is that the old trafford gig has special guests and starts at 5 pm. could it be someone big doing a long concert b4. i know the goos are the specials for the american, but this is the only other gig with special guests.

yeah thats true, he doesnt need to support them and has his own tour at the same kindof time, soooooooooooooo lets hope we dont have him. Although he is one of the better pop singers to be honest

and as for the last bit, I hope Old Trafford isnt starting at 5 and finishing at like 8 or something because that would just be crap!

WENT TO TICKET MASTER. THERE ARE NO LONGER SPECIAL GUESTS FOR OLD TRAFFORD. THE SUPPORT IS FROM 6 30 TO 7 30 AND THE JOVI ARE ON AT 8. GATES OPEN AT 5 . ORIGINALLY GATES OPENED EARLIER AND WOULD HAVE ENDED AROUND 9PM! I HAVE GOLD TICKETS SO MIGHT NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 7 45!

I think Ronan Keating is ok. At least he's talented (albeit an ex-boyband member). I still think that I survived Babylon Zoo (AKA Babylon Boo) in 96, I will survive anything. Besides, in Finland we never get any big names to open, so it's cool to have someone. Altho the best support so far that I've seen was Little Steven van Zandt in 95.

That was cool!!!

I don't think we need to worry about the RK fans crowding up the stadiums - aren't they pretty much sold out anyways (besides some seated tickets).

Ktf, Bon Jovi is what we're there for. Take a pair of ear plugs with you if you don't want to hear Ronan - that's what we have done before
