Warning about Hyde Park tickets: No Gold/Diamond circle.

In principle its not a bad idea, but its not what was advertised. If this does turn out to be the BJ layout then I will probably be looking for a downgrade from Gold Circle - £40 extra a ticket for the oppurtunity to be further back than I could be in GA is a little ridiculous.

I just wanted to say that that's not correct. I bought Stones Tier 2 as ticket only, no extras. I wasn't interested in "hospitality", all I wanted was a decent view with the freedom to move around a bit, see a bit of the action on the other stages during the afternoon. Am going alone, so have no one to protect a spot for me.

I'm dreadfully disappointed at the way things have turned out. I hope everything goes well for all Bon Jovi fans who are going to HP, and that you haven't been deceived in the way that we have.

Ok, so I've been looking at this layout issue today and it's taken me a long time to find what I was looking for but I think I've found something to show that they can't do this revised area for the Bon Jovi day on 5th July.

If you look here it says:

Bon Jovi - 5 July - General Admission

General Admission – access to the main spectator area - GET TICKETS

Gold Circle – access to an area closer to the stage than general admission - GET TICKETS

Diamond – access to the area directly in front of the stage - SOLD OUT



However, when you look at The Rolling Stones bit it's different:

The Rolling Stones - 6 July - General Admission

Tier 1 tickets SOLD OUT

Separate fast track entrance to the site

Direct access to The Garden, an exclusive area with its own toilet facilities, bar and food stalls, providing the shortest possible queues

Access to an enclosed area with an excellent view of the main stage and plenty of space, allowing you to come and go as you please


Tier 2 tickets - SOLD OUT

Separate fast track entrance to the site

Direct access to The Garden, an exclusive area with its own toilet facilities, bar and food stalls, providing the shortest possible queues

Access to an enclosed area directly behind Tier 1 with an excellent view of the main stage and plenty of space, allowing you to come and go as you please


Tier 3 tickets - GET TICKETS

General admission through the main entrance
Access to all general admission areas, including the possibility to stand directly in front of the main stage – if you get there early enough!

Please someone agree with me that they are clearly stating that for Bon Jovi the Diamond and Gold Circle areas are IN FRONT of the general admission.

Ha! Yes, it's different now, but the wording was exactly* the same for the Stones as for Bon Jovi, until they changed it.

I'm not sure exactly when it was changed, but it was definitely after the presales were over.


(* except they used the words Tier 1 & 2 instead of Gold & Diamond circles)

Time for all us Jovi fans to calm down and relax....
Just had the following email from Rob Hallet, which confirms that Diamond/Gold circle will be as advertised and as we expect:

"Don’t worry Bon Jovi is set up in the same manner as all of their shows
The Stones is a different set up

Diamond on Bon Jovi is in the usual place

Rob"
