The solo is very strange though. Seems like they've turned it into a keyboard solo...or did Richie simply forget to do it?

What's the deal with his voice? Seems to have degraded somewhat since the highs of the latter part of the LH tour.

It doesn't sound the same. Might just be wearing out a little.

Maybe being in studio for a while recording demos and all that, made his voice become tired. I don't know.

I would imagine it takes more application to sing a gig than to record an album. I've been in bands and done demo's and noticed singers can hit notes easier when recording than when live. I know thats an obvious conclusion lol, but a lot of people don't think about it. I would imagine Jon isn't as strong live just now as he was during parts of the LH tour, because he's out of practise. From singing 2hrs every other day for a few months, he's probably gone months with only singing when recording which is a hell of a lot more stop/start and less vocally demanding, or the odd gig once in a while.

Anyway i only play guitar, so all the above could very well be a load of rubbish lol
