Its it the shep bush empire and it will be heaving with people. The energy the band give will spill into the crowd and it will be immense.

You dont get that with stadium gigs. Also most of the stadiums were half empty on the LH tour. So why not play somewhere smaller?
But even if the stadiums in the UK were half empty, and even if you do take into account people buying tickets for multiple shows, you're probably looking at a good 50 - 100 thousand people or more in the UK alone who would see Bon Jovi. How many times would they have to play at Shepherd's Bush to satisfy that demand? They might be able to get away with a tour of the bigger arenas (Wembley, the 02, Manchester MEN etc), but you still run the risk of a lot of fans not being able to get tickets, and also a lot of fans who would have been in Gold Circle at a stadium gig relegated to miles away in an arena

and also when it comes to BJ - the smaller the gig the higher the price!
I thought the Twickenham shows last year were great! Rather there than
Wembley anytime.
Sure a few shows at O2 wouldn't hurt (apart from my wallet).

Frankly, for me it's the other way round. I'm affraid next tour will be arena's because too many shows on the LH tour were far from sold out. So arena's might be a true option.

Truth of the matter is that arena's sound even worse than stadiums.
Best sound for me is still the open air show (flat) like Goffertpark or Werchter or even Hyde Park if the wind isn't too strong and if you aren't too far from the stage.

Second comes some specific clubs like the HMH, Shepherds bush, AB in Brussels, etc... anyway, these clubs are too small for bon jovi. If they announced a big tour, it will be big in every sense of the word (i hope)

Bon Jovi have been selling out stadiums for years. We know they can do it. So why not go back to arenas and club like venues?
it will make a change and will give the band a new live energy.
Imagine seeing Jovi and being no more than 25 feet away or even closer than that.

Ok if thats not possible then why not venues like Carling Hammersmith Apollo - I saw Thunder there the other week and the enrgy and vibe is amazing. Not a bad seat in the house. The sound is brilliant as well.

I just cannot see the advantage of a tour full of inimate shows for following reasons:

1. Less people get to see the band and enjoy the music.
2. Probably work out more costly for seats to a gig if there aren't as many tickets being sold.
3. Shows would be shorter, Jovi aren't going to play 3 hours for 1,500 people every night. This equates to less music for your money.

It'd hardly be promoting a massive new album by playing to a very small audience each night would it? To me it just seems to go against any sense to want loads of little shows. I am not saying a few small places aren't good but Bon Jovi have been playing arenas and stadiums for 25 years and aren't going to change a tour format that has proved extremely prosporous for them.

Like I already said, they'd have to do like 20 odd gigs in the Hammersmith Apollo (it's owned by HMV now, not Carling) in order to meet demand

Stadiums are always going to be the way in Europe for the following reasons.

1. Money - more people = more money

2. Demand - To meet the demands of fans the band would have to play Shepard's Bush 90 times over, that ain't gonna happen. So playing one huge show makes sense.

The Lost Highway tour in Europe wasn't a the most successful by Bon Jovi's standards but any major act is struggling.

Coldplay, U2, Foo Fighters, Metallica all played to under sold shows in the UK in the past year or so.

i reckon the band should continue playin stadiums for as long as possible, just adds to the enormity of the ocassion.
