Default What Bon Jovi should play during tour

Bon Jovi should plan a tour and only play songs they hardly ever play. Like Always, songs from Destination Anywhere and Blaze of Glory, Undiscovered soul, b-sides etc.
What do you think of it? I've had Prayer and bad name so many times... I don't think I'm going to a BJ concert anymore if they don't change anything in their playlist....

They never really changes the set-lists. Only changes some musics, playin something older... I think they forgotten many old songs, so I can't believe in a big set list change on this tour

I think things are going to change a bit... They are going to cut quite a bit of the Bounce songs leaving probably... Everday, Bounce, and maybe The Distance...

No because that would only be ok for the real hardcore fans and those that go to see Bon Jovi for the hit singles alone. It would be good to see an alternative show though maybe in a smaller venue, but a tour wouldn't attract that many people if they didn't know they were gonna play Prayer, Bad Name, Wanted, Faith, etc.

I agree with StoneDeaf.

But they have to play some of their hits like KTF and stuff since not every visitor of the concert is a fan and the people want to hear songs they know.

As long as they play some songs from These Days, I'll be as happy as a Junkie who's been given a tonne of good-quality crack.

I'd like 'em to bring back things like let it rock, 99 in the shade, tokyo road, get ready, hey god, all i want is everything, dry county, next 100 years... you get the picture,..

of course these would be mixed up with the hits, like prayer, wanted, faith...

1 thing i'd definetly love'em to do: medleys: from an old album, from their ballads, from a decade... anything, i think it's a great way of playing lot's of stuff. They could play chorus from some songs... riffs from others, verses from other ones... doing a 10 minute jam with, let's say 4 or 5 songs would be great...

Other thing i expect'em to do is not to play always the same rare songs, vary on each show, so that it doesn't get predictable after the first 10 shows. Constantly change not only the songs to be played, but the order they are played....

I wish they could see this thread:S

My opinion on this is mixed. While I would love to see a Jovi show with 15 songs that we haven't heard in a long time it really is a double edged blade. For example last summer I saw Clapton live. Now next to Richie I think Clapton is the best. But his show was a lot of blues (which I loved) and songs he hasn't played in years (which I loved) The problem was he would play a song like "Let it Rain" and maybe half the crowd knew it. Or he would play a real old blues tune like "Stop Breaking Down Blues" I think there maybe 5 people who got excited and knew that song. He would play a guitar solo before songs. These solos were amazing! Some of the best stuff I've ever heard and I would look aroung and everyone would be sitting down. Then he would play the intro to "Layla" and the crowd went nuts. Point being on that last tour he only played maybe 4 or 5 of his "hits" and I think maybe he alienated some of his fans with that. I think a lot of Jovi fans might feel the same way if at a show they only heard a set that was made up of only 50% of their hits and the rest semi obscure stuff.

I would like them to drop a few of the same songs at every show. Like Capt Crash, I got the Girl, Some stuff on Bounce or whatever and add like 5 or 6 songs that they haven't played in a long time. Something Off of 7800 or TD or BJ. Maybe have about 10 songs they can play and switch them up each night.
