8 songs of Jovi-Lite. 2 or 3 that will make you go "ooooh". A couple of covers, and half a dozen Vanilla.

Tbh I dont think any Richie set can be a bad set for me. He is bound to do atleast 2 from the other albums and that would make me happy.

My songs favorite from SetList on tour.

Stranger
Ballad of You/Rosie
FATHER TIME
One Light Burning

If god was a woman
hard times come easy
Harlem Rain/Fallen From Graceland
Undiscovered Soul

If I Can't Have Your Love (Box Set)

Nowadays
Every road
Seven years Gone
Weathering The Storm/Forgiveness Street
Takin A Chance on The Wind
Learning How to Fly

Prayer (acoustic)
Its my Life (acoustic)
Wanted (acoustic)
Homebound Train/Bad Meicine
Ill Be There For You/These Days

Blowin' in The Wind (Bob Dylan Cover)
All Along the Watchtower (Jimmy Hendrix Version)
Yesterday (The Beatles Cover)
When A Blind Man Cries (Deep Purple Cover)

Richie Sambora has great solo material, large versions of Bon Jovi and magnificent covers of other artists.

I want an official dvd of a show from "Every Road Tour". Sherpen Bush Empire would be great.

I was wondering about that too. To be honest my ideal set list would include only his solo songs. Personally I wouldn’t want him play neither BJ songs nor covers. He’s got enough of his own material for one show, that most of us haven’t heard live. I wish it includes at least 5 songs from SITT, 5 from US and the new album in its entirety. Plus I would kill to hear ‘If I can’t have your love’ That would be more or less about 20 songs, which should fit just fine for about 2h show. Of course I don’t mind about 25 songs like at BJ show
I think that majority of the audience will be die-hard fans. People that know all his albums really well. Let’s face it, there’s only max. 2000 people at the show which is a tiny part of any BJ show. London’s show sold out in 10 minutes + 2 days of pre-sale, and casuals wouldn’t sit down in front of the computer at 9am sharp to get best tickets possible. Only die-hards would. Therefore I think there is no risk that people wouldn’t know any of his songs. I don’t need hits, I got the tickets for Richie show, and I want his songs. Those rarities are priceless and I hope he plays as much of them as possible.
I have only one request – Ballad of Youth. If he plays that on each show, that would be perfect. The problem is he played it only once on US Tour if I am not mistaken (in Australia I think) so that gives me some concerns about it. But I hope that with his new awesome band members, he will dust off this gem and make it a staple. For sure the song deserves it in my opinion. Apart from that whatever he plays from his songs, would be fantastic for me. So far I haven’t heard any of his new songs, apart from Every Road, but I bet they are great and that he is proud of them the most at the moment and wants to let them shine more than the old songs.

But having said that, I am fully aware that won’t happen. Looking at set lists from his previous tours it’s exactly a mix of everything. So about 3 covers and 3 BJ songs at least, unfortunately, which for me takes the spot of his 6 songs, that would be so much more valuable. But I can dream

Ballad of Youth was tough to sing back then, and IMPOSSIBLE for him to sing today ... Same for Father Times ... Unless he drops the key or sing it an octave lower, there is no way he will sing it.

That might be the reason but I still think he should still give it a try. If he can’t handle it anymore so high, than lower the key, like you suggested. I am perfectly fine with that. I would rather hear it in the lower key than not to hear it at all. This song is too good to be missed in the set. He should know really well fans love it. Songs are not about vocals only in my opinion. Great guitars make this song special too, and there’s nothing wrong with his playing abilities, so no excuses there
Santa Fe is my fav Jon’s solo song, and when I got it at O2 I was thrilled anyway, even though it was sang much lower than original version. Those songs have some magic vibe and there is so much more than just technical skills in them.

I'm hoping for at least 3-4 stranger songs. I think BJ wise it'll be heavy on the NJ era, the only post 2000 will be IML if that. I'm really looking forward to him doing IBTFY at his show, think it'll be a def highlight.

Won't it be lovely to not hear him play, cap crash, who says, work for the working man, etc!

Knock on wood, because he has played We Weren't Born To Follow acoustically at charity gigs and such.

IMO this was horrible, cringeworthy ... I like the song, but it has NOTHING to do with Richie's voice ...

The ONLY way the set can be bad is that he plays Bon Jovi's latest material like Lost Highway, I Love This Town or Who Says. Hearing even one of this would be a mood killer... And if he plays more than two covers i start to get pissed. He seems to be touring every ten years or less... having maybe 10 shows per tour... there will be simply no place for covers.

I think he plays:
3-4 from Stranger
4-5 from US
5-6 from Aftermath
4-5 from Jovi
3-4 covers
