He is gonna play covers. There is no way around that.

I dunno, much as they would be as welcome as a fart in a lift, as we haven't heard Richie sing them before I wouldn't be that annoyed at maybe one of them slipping in. Well, except Who Says...

Aloha !

I don't really understand why he'd play any big Bon Jovi hits in Europe anyway. The venues will be packed with die hards so why not just play the rare album cuts like Homebound Train which he doesn't get to play with Jon at the wheel of the band? I'm not sure this would work in America which is a much more Jon-orientated market so he'll really has to convince audiences to come to hear him play some Bon Jovi stuff, but as for Europe; There's quite a lot of fans of the Undiscovered Soul and Stranger In This Town records thus there's more people knowing the Bon Jovi album cuts as well. So why bother with the big hits?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Homebound train would be a great call. As would an electric version of Rosie (don't think it was done on the U.Soul tour?) Bad Mx will probably happen, but if its anything like the cool bluesy talkboxy version he used to do, then that would be very welcome.
And if he doesn't play Seven Years gone, I'm going home.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Beacause he has done it before too... In Undiscoved Soul -European leg he played almost in every show 4 Bon Jovi's big hits (Bad Medicine, I'll Be There For You, Livin on a Prayer and Wanted)
And I'm 99% sure that we will hear 2 to 3 of those again + some later Bon Jovi material. Sadly.

I can't foresee him playing anything post-2000 except IML acoustic

I'm, not surprised at all if he plays for example Lost Higway, Whole Lot of Leavin, I Love This Town or We Weren't Born to Follow... and of course It's My Life as you said...
