I couldn't care less about peoples backbags but what annoys the hell out of me is when people start to smoke in the crowd. Also, anything that people lift up, like flags or banners are really annoying unless I'm in the first row. Don't they understand that they're blocking the view for everyone behind them?

I think backbags are annoying cause there on the floor in front of the perosn that brings them and constandly on your legs. You can't jump or whatever!
Or pushing in your back.
Maybe I could be nicer, but I just started to wonder don't they relize there more people out there!

The other things you desribe I can imagine.

If there's a backbag in my feet, I jump anyway. If you bring it, you know it's going to get stepped on. If you don't want it to be stepped on, you hold on to it. It's a personal choice.

That's true, but what if someone behind you is holding on to it and it's bumps into your legs or back?

My ticket, money, my cell phone and my camera. I've managed to get my purse into the two Toronto shows I was at. The security guards just had me open it to see what I had in it.

I had some times people with big bags behind me..a;; the time I couldn`t move my feet or stand other way.
When I finally asked to move that thing the girl said: no it`s fine here...yeah for her....so I kicked it away( just a bit)

You can bring very little into concerts at my local venue. You can't even bring a camera bag. Last concert I went to I brought my tickets, drivers license, debit card, cash, camera & film. Oh, and I think I may have had some chap stick in my pocket. Even then, you get searched fully and they check everything. I've pretty much gotten to the point where if I can't fit it in my pocket, I don't need it. I'm only going to be there for a few hours.

my friend had a rucksac on tour, and I was so greatful (my friends and I) because that bag was jam packed with drink and a little food. if it wasn't for her being so organised with the food and drink we would of been very ill from the heat, I ended up getting sun stroke in gels, but if it wasn't for all the drink that my friend had in her bag at the concerts I'm sure I would of been a lot worse than I was, and my friends too. so altho rucksacs are a pain in the bum for carrying around and putting down in a venue, (like my friend who was organised) they are a life saver!! lol

Just want to get back on the words of Ice...about qeueing. As you all know I`ve been arounf quite a long time( hehehehe), and I know when you qeue you need lots of stuff. But mostly , if people know, you can bring stuff back to wherever you need to. I did lots of time.
Last tours, with th elist working( and believe me, I will make it work next time too) it is even easier to bring back your stuff. When you`re in Europe, doing the same concerts as I do, leave your stuff in my car. As long as anyone ppickes it up afterwards I don`t care. I have a big car. lots of space.
And Carola and me taking care of the organisation again...it all will work( I hope)

Should always have a good camera handy and plenty of money for shirts & things. Can't forget the ticket, that's about it.
