Default What ever happened to Crush's singles?

We all know that It's My Life and Captain Crash are played A LOT nowadays. Some might say too much. But I want to know what ever happened to One Wild Night, Say It Isn't So, and Thank You For Loving Me. Those 3 were all good songs, and all sounded good live, IMO. One Wild Night has been played twice since 2001 as far as I know, and I don't think Say It Isn't So or TYFLM have either been played since the OWN tour. Another song that they kinda forgot about was Two Story Town. Was there a disagreement about these songs or what?

The kick ass version of One Wild Night wasn't a single.

It's one of their best 00s songs. I don't understand why they destroyed it in the next year.

Best regards,

Like pretty much EVERY other album in their career, the band only retained the hit(s) off an the album and the song(s) they seem to think worked best live.

I was just referring to One Wild Night in general. The album version is so much better than the single version.

Obviously the band's opinions are different than mine, but I think that One Wild Night, Two Story Town and Say It Isn't So all worked better than Captain Crash.

Depends. I know a lot of people here hate Crash, but it pretty much always gets crowds moving, and goes over than almost anything off the last 4 records.
That being said, being one of the biggest Crush (and Say It isn't So in particular fans on here) I would like nothing better than for them to be played again.

I am also a big Crush defender. I think it was an awesome album. I really want to hear Next 100 Years too. I still think Crash works alright live, but the album version is better and OWN, 2 Story Town, and Say It Isn't So work much better live.

Thank You FLM, Two Story Town, and Captain Crash are great songs. Though all these three were accused for being a rip off of other songs, I can't stop loving them. TYFLM for Aerosmith's Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, Two Story for Joan Osbourne's One of Us, and Captain for Oasis's Stay Young. I wish they will be played on the next tour dates.

For once, I agree with you. The album version of OWN is a great rock song and one of the best they´ve written in the 00s.

I would love to hear some of the Crush songs.
So far I have heard IML, Just older and Capt. Crash live and they went over very well. I can't judge of first hand how the other songs work in a live enviroment but when I watch the Crush DVD I enjoy the live performances very much.
