Default What ever happened to the fireworks?

I can remember 'fireworks' always being part of a BJ show. I think from the 'New Jersey' tour onwards. They used them in 1996 as I can remember them during songs as well as at the end of the show.

What happened to them?

It seems that from the Crush tour they bearly use them. Sometimes at the end of a show.

They ended the concerts in Giants stadium in 2001 and 2003 with fireworks but that's the last I remember. There were no fireworks at the 2006 Giants shows.

My cynical mind thinks it has to do with the litigation-happy society we live in. Just let someone get a minor burn and the band and promoters and venue and local fire marshall who deemed the display "safe" will all be sued. I was 4th row at a Big & Rich concert and their pyro just about singed my hair. I could easily imagine some kind of situation where someone got injured at that show.

Yeay, tell me about it. Nickelback had A TON of pyro at their show and being in the front row you could definitely feel the heat from the pyro very much. So i can do without pyro, although fireworks @ a Bon Jovi concert i think would be awesome. I was kind of surprised they didn't have them at Giants last year for the last show.

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

One Wild Night tour was the last one to feature fireworks in Europe.

They ended the Hyde PArk concert with fireworks, but I can't remember any last year at Milton Keynes.

Are you refering to an older concert there??

The only show in Europe on the Bounce tour, to my knowledge, that had fireworks was Hyde Park. I know for a fact that the other UK gigs didn't have fireworks. Hyde Park was the last show I remember fireworks at

I'm possibly barking up the wrong tree, but could it be something to do with the disastrous Great White concert?
