A few points that have probably already been covered:

1. Crowds in London are notoriously up their own arse imo and not up for having fun compared to just about everywhere else in the UK. I can't think of one gig I've been to there where I didn't think "how many trees did they have to cut down to put a stick up several thousand asses?"

2. All seating venues for rock gigs are virtually non existant in the UK (I reckont he o2 was designed primarilly for pop bands with younger audiences and oldies / reunion acts with older audiences) so when you actually have to go to one, it's a bit strange and you do kind of wonder whether you should stand up or just sit down and watch the show.

Thats a bit of an odd opinion seeing as though half the population of London is from other parts of the UK.... I don't think that view is so much notorious as strangely unique to Jim Bon Jovi.

True regarding seating however on the 4 nights I went to the 02 no-one else seem to have this dilema and stood up throughout.

Basically looking round the Arena, the majority of people were dancing around throwing their hands up and having a great time. Atmosphere was great. The only thing we weren't doing was moshing... because it's a Bon Jovi concert.... we had chairs.... and it was extremely hot!

The O2 regularly has standing crowds - e.g. Aerosmith just a week before the residency - this was Bon Jovi's choice.

And ya know why that is, its cause floor standing takes it to 23,000, put the seats in and i bet its 17-18,000 so they get the 85% of it which makes it a sell out

Block 102 wasn't the best last night, loads of people sitting down in front of us. Only standing during It's My Life and Prayer really.

Still we had a fantastic time.

Hate all this seating though. GA is so much better on the floor!

102 was great on Friday, helped being lucky enough for front row of it, like being on the floor.

404 was decent last night, plenty of dancers and standing from the off except the bloke next to me had clearly been dragged their by the mrs as he didnt react to anything, not even Prayer

On 11th June I was in block 110 and there were a couple next to me who sat down throughout the entire show - no dancing, no singing, no clapping, nothing. What is the deal with this type of person at any show? Why bother going if you are not going to enter into the spirit of things?

After seeing the show on Tuesday, I must say that German and Irish crowds are better! I though the pit would be rocking but I was left in it alone.. I blame it on the prices and the seats.

After 5 concerts in O2, i have to say again that Spain crowds are the best of this tour with difference

The Spanish gig was a festival crowd so it's unfair to compare the two.

I have to admit I was disappointed with The O2 crowd on my night. They were loud but there was an awful lot of people sitting throughout and going for piss breaks. Maybe that's staple for an indoor show, I'm used to going to open air concerts.

I'm proud of myself though, I sang myself horse and made sure I was heard.
