Iv been watching the LIL DVD this week, I reckon there are no more than about 2-3000 ppl in the pit. I think alot of people buy GC thinkign its going to be that smal when realistically its goign to be about half GC and half GA. At Hype park they actually had 3 sections, fan club, GC and then GA, id expect this again for Wembley.

Exactly right about people 'automatically expecting' the pit to be the same as on the These Days/Crush Dvd's. Unfortunately its not like that anymore, and the promotors have realised that they can make more money by making the 'Pit' bigger and charging fans more for tickets. Pretty clever actually!

Heres a shot from the Wolverhampton 2003 bootleg video and u can clearly see the size of the GC....Its clear from watching the entire video that the GC takes up around 1/4 of the pitch....

Maybe it was bigger at Manchester but i wouldnt of thought they would have varied it much as obviosuly the pitches would of been the same size at each gig and they were on the same tour and all...

Nice image I was at each show in the UK in 2003, and they did vary slightly. They probably limited the gold circle area depending on how many tickets they sold and also the size of the pitch area. I do remember that the Wolverhampton show was the last to sell out.

Hi, I have tickets for the golden circle on the Sunday at Wembley. Can I ask what the deal is with being let in/out of the golden circle?

Once in the GC can we leave to go to the toilet, bar etc? Or do we have to stay there all the time or do we have our own toilets, bar etc?

Also, has anyone heard that the Saturday has sold out yet? I can only find seating so has the rest sold out?

Thanks for your help guys!

There will be a barrier dividing GC and GA so I wouldnt worry too much about returning to your spot

Thanks! So just to clarify, I can go to the bar freely and just return to the GC by showing my ticket?

Sorry new to all this front end stuff. (That doesn't mean I'm into back end stuff though)

I know in Holland we have a law for security cause that is the reason the pit thing is done in big stadiums and the maximum in the pit/GC is 5000 people.
I dont know for other countries but I assume it will be around the same maybe a bit more. But remember first of all it's a savety thing and now bands and fanclub make money out of giving a place in that area close to the stage away... but you pay more....
