Most of the time, the crowd could care less about the opener, they came to see the main act. Seeing the Goo Goo Dolls as an opening act was enjoyable, but I think they have much more potential doing a show to die hard fans. The band does feed off the crowd, us Bon Jovi fans know that for sure.

No, I'm not kidding. I don't think the fans had much to do with it. Maybe if Johnny and Robbie hadn't been drunk off their asses or high they would have put on a decent show. But they didn't do it so well phoning it in from Mars or whereverthehell their minds were that night. Johnny never looked up and Robbie was acting like a maniac. They weren't playing well and they didn't sound good. I've never looked as forward to an opening act as I did the Goos and, consequently, never been as disappointed by one either.
