Yeah I broke my foot several years agoa and was just in tubigrip as they said it would heal better. They said it would take around 6 weeks, but 2 weeks i was back near normal.

See so we could all be making a mountain out of a molehill. I reckon if they compress it over the next couple of days and he rests it to the max but does small exercises so it doesn't seize up we'll all be surprised how fast he heals.

Give his leg a rest by bringing the stools out, lowering the lights and having acoustic sets for the rest of the tour. Not sure how well that would work in a stadium setting but I'd up for giving it a try.

that or pump him full of painkillers and see what he comes up with then - could be the most fun Bon Jovi gigs in years!

With only 18 gigs left on the tour, NO WAY is Jon canceling any shows. He'll suck it up.

Thanks for that - means I have to head for 7.20 as I'm not bothered about seeing anyone else though Ray Davies is probably worth a listen.

Jon doesnt cancel shows and thb i'm very grateful for that, not like bands like KOL who cancelled for getting S*** on by pigeons. We may get our ticket money back but we wouldnt get any travel costs back so it would work out really expensive (I havent checked the terms and cons of Sebstage though )

I'm looking at that break between Dublin and Turkey of 8 days and hope he will recover in that period. In the meantime he needs to sit down for some songs, If he can walk out on stage with a walking stick then he can get a chair on there.

Just bear in mind that Hyde Park is a flat venue and if HRC are to believed it's sold out at 60,000. I'm going for 12-1 as A) want to be near the front and B I want to see Vintage Trouble as they seem decent.

It may take longer to heal because he isn't resting it properly.

Richie also played with a broken shoulder/collarbone on the HAND tour.

The only time I remember a gig being cancelled due to injury was in Australia when Tico broke his wrist.
