it seems extremely unfair to base bon jovi ticket sales on RUMBA...i find that to be total bull..
(a) many people were not prepared to pay such a huge amount of money just to see 45 minutes of the band playin at RUMBA
(b) what was said above was correct. aussies do prefer arenas. i've seen the band both at the universal appeal concert and at rumba and it was great ONLY because i was front section and front row respectively. otherwise, when i saw kiss at the same stadium, we were much further back and needed binoculars..it was ridiculous
if this is true and bon jovi were ''testing the waters'' so to speak, then it is extremely unfair for us aussie fans to have to suffer due to the fact that a lame 45 minute time spot for the band plays a role on whether or not they'd be back again..
not to mention the fact that here at the melbourne RUMBA, bon jovi was the second last act to play, and as soon as they played 80% of the stadium emptied...they were there only for bon jovi simply because they didnt mind forking out the cash just to see the band for a few songs...
bon jovi are doing their australian fans no justice at all to base their travelling here on these factors...
