Default What song has the best introduction?

What song do you think has the best introduction in a live setting? I mean in terms of when the first notes hit in the song, rather than some elaborate introduction to a song (e.g., Jon's time-machine intro to Runaway).

Weirdly, a lot of Bon Jovi's best (live) songs have kind of quiet, slow-building introductions (e.g., Keep the Faith, Dry County, Wanted, These Days).

For me, the best introductions in a live setting are the ones that hit hard right off the bat and get your heart racing. For example, the intro to Born to Run by Bruce is a perfect example.

For me, I'd say Always. When that drumbeat hits, it is very special. Special mentions to I Believe and It's My Life.

I'm curious to know what you guys think? YouTube videos are welcome!

Lay your hands on me, Wanted (especially on KTF tour), I believe (Bremen 2003 being the best), Something for the pain, Something to believe in, Happy now, Hey god, Damned…

Too many good ones! Hard to pick one, but I’ll go with Wild in the streets.

I actually love the intro on Runaway. I might as well start at the beginning because I'm afraid we have reached the end.

For me nothing beats hearing Jon shout out ”two, three, four” and then the na, na, nas.

Easily Wild in the Streets with that drum intro and count-off, ESPECIALLY when it's second or third in the set. Feels like it gets the show rockin.

I was big fan of the time machine - was that 2006? ...silly I know but those were my favorite performances of Runaway. Cool way to start a cool song

For me it got to be either Blood on Blood acoustic (1995-~2000) or Living On A Prayer acappella intro

Forgot to mention Saturday Night with Jon’s guitar intro
