They did that at one of the Pru shows. No idea why they stopped.

They did a few openers when they first started the tour. I think they were still trying to find that right opener.

Summertime, Hey God, Its my life, The Distance, HAND would all be better than Lost Highway as an opener.

No point picking one we've already seen (I believe, OWN etc etc).

Did someone say Always earlier?! wtf. Some strange folk about this board today

You have to picture how the band would open with each song. For example, when they opened with Last Man Standing last tour with Jon starting in the crowd and then making his way back during the next song, and the giant screen rising up to unveil the rest of the band. That was cool. You need an introduction that flows with the opening song, Lost Highway is just kind of blah, I haven't seen them on this tour (and probably won't get the chance) but there are better choices. Let It Rock is hands down the best choice, you have the intro music goin as the lights on the stage turn up etc etc and then they come out rockin'. I think starting with something like Born To Be My Baby (two, three, four) could be cool but there are better options. You also want to set the tone for the rest of the night. We Got It Goin' On could be cool since that is from the album they are touring behind.

If they want to start with a LH song: We Got It Going On
Cover: The Boys Are Back In Town
80s song: Lay Your Hands or Prayer
90s: I Believe or Hey God
00s: It's My Life

Not It's My Life, it's painfully boring and slow when they play it live. Have A Nice Day is better and probably would be better to open, but I wouldn't mind seeing Rockin' In The Free World

Realistically: Raise Your Hands would be perfect, it would need an extended intro or sumthin' though.

Unrealistically: Let It Rock, It's a bit too slow to open a show me thinks. And mabey a little long?

Cover: Rocking In The Free World Or Helter Skelter
