Unless they back it up with some atmospheric lighting / video effects I think they will soon realise that WWWB wont come off live in the big stadiums. So I would expect it indoors but then to be ditched by 2011 stadium tour.

We all know how dogmatic Jon is in his setlist beliefs and I think WWBTF will be a 100% staple for the whole tour, as will 'Working Man' and 'Superman Tonight'.

After that its a lottery - if they listen to advice / pressure like they seemed to do with Dry County then we will get Brokenpromiseland and Bullet quite regularly and if they go ahead with what Jon wants we will probably get a 10 min version of Fast Cars!!

Anyone else like any other bands where the lead singer doesn't seem to understand what the fans want to hear? My other favourite bands of the last decade (Counting Crows, Matchbox 20, Thunder (uk) and Keith Urban) don't seem to suffer from this problem, they mix rarities with obvious stuff and seem to have a good idea about what works live. Jon hasn't had this for years now, not since the These Days tour I reckon.

I'm not 100% sure about WWBTF being a staple in the setlist. The band must know that it made **** all impact when it was released.

I really hope Brokenpromiseland, Superman Tonight and Thorn in my side are staples

Wouldn't mind hearing Happy Now live either.

Look, you're gonna get We Weren't Born To Follow. Everyday didn't do all that great either, but they certainly kept playing it. What I would hope for is that they work on it a bit more to add something that finally makes it work. The main issue with it is the music behind it, the actual lyrics/vocal melody is fine as well as catchy. The music behind it is bland. They are better off playing it as they did on Inside the Actor's Studio to put the focus on what works. Just....don't open the show with it.

Brokenpromiseland is a strong contender for the role of show opener and stands to gain and get the most mileage from that position. It could very well be one of their most powerful and driving openers career-wise up there with Lay Your Hands On Me. When I think about it, it shits all over any of the 2000 decade openers. One Wild Night.. it was the only choice for a new song from Crush. Bounce was awkward and unconvincing, I only liked it at Shepherds Bush. Last Man Standing I would say is probably the best thus far, but I didn't see it for myself to say so. Lost Highway, didn't work for me.

When We Were Beautiful was meant to be heard live in an Arena or Stadium with that hugeness in the sound. I wouldn't be surprised if some people who keep dismissing or slamming it get won over at the show. Precise placement in the set that maximizes the atmosphere in the song will be important.

Count on Work for the Working Man. It's another song that is likely to have more impact when done live as opposed to sitting alone in your bedroom.

We all know Superman Tonight is a given, I just hope they perform it convincingly to make it work for me. It can go either way.

Fast Cars would not surprise me as being a regular and yes, another one likely to go over better live.

The rest of them are a toss up as audibles or regular. I'd like to think they will revisit their approach with Crush and go ape shit with playing songs from this album. At the height Crush was getting 8 to 9 songs played live.

It would be nice to see them join the ranks of so many others in having all of their tour dates professionallly recorded and made available for purchase, I just did Metallica and KISS, both offering up the service with fantastic results.

Maybe I am a just dreamer but I hope they will play something between 7-10 songs from TC during the tour. At least in 2010. After all this is THE CIRLCE tour, not The Greatest Hits Tour. I'd love to hear my top 7 from the album which is:
1. Bullet
2. Brokenpromiseland
3. Happy Now
4. Thorn In My Side
5. Learn To Love
6. Love's The Only Rule
7. Superman Tonight
If I get to hear all of them I would be in heaven. At least first five from my list. Anything more than that would be great too. Actually I wouldn't mind if they play all the songs from the album. But I don't think that's possible.

By the way, even Obie mentioned that the will play a lot of tracks from TC during the tour so maybe my dream is possible.
